Does the word “amnesty” used in this case bother anyone else? The wording to me suggests that “well, you did something wrong but we’re willing to move past it.” That is not a good sentiment to express when referring to a sexual assault.

Irony: Mormons are huge proponents of marriage, families and children. NPH and David Burtka have been married for several years, together even longer, and have two gorgeous kids. The only thing “wrong” in that scenario is that they’re a same sex couple.

Right? ABC has so far left a golden opportunity untouched.

Funny or Die predicted this would happen, more or less:

Given the campaign by the mother and grandmother to release the father, and the lack of mention of the daughter in their letter, I’m left wondering if they’re laying all of the blame at the feet of the girl. Criminy, this is seriously messed up.

I recently read that he left Scientology. Yay, Jason Lee!

Aw man, really? MP seemed so normal! I’m the rehab program helped him out, but damn - there are other less culty ways, MP!

My freshman year boyfriend’s roommate was this guy. My boyfriend actually took a picture of this guy asleep, hand down his pants.

So is my husband.

I’ll admit: I kind of hope so.

Agreed - I think the celebrity kids were Michael alibi of sorts. If they said good things about him, then it cast doubt on his accusers

What about someone like Robert Redford? He was huge back in the early 80s and is still very respected now, though more as a director and producer.

Randy Quaid and Woody Harrelson were also in Kingpin. That said, neither of them pushes the “family man” image too hard. Neither does Bill Murray.

Corey Feldman has also said very nice things about Michael Jackson.

I don’t think it is. I don’t see him as the type of person who’d care if he lost his hair. He’s said before that he doesn’t dye it - one of his grandfathers never went grey, and he assumed he got lucky in terms of genetics and hair.

Right, I understand that. I was speaking to the fact that the cause of Alexis’ death seemed to cause surprise in some.

Tall and plus here! I feel your pain. Old Navy seems to be the place I can find tops most often. Otherwise it seems like retailers have never dreamed of a woman with long arms, broad shoulders, and a long torso. We’re like gryphons.
