Ordinarily I’d second this but the last few years the traffic on my morning commute’s gotten brutal and I have too many close calls in my cage. At least those are in stop and go type situations around town so it’d probably be a trip to the hospital versus the morgue. Not sure if it’s the same case for the OP but the

COTD. This comment is a little masterpiece.

Crack Pipe, but let me explain:

Correct. And a scooter will also provide the exact same amount of protection as this car in an accident. That’s not a knock on scooters or this car, just something to consider and depending on your risk tolerance, something to perhaps temper our longing for the cheap deathtrap cars they allow on the roads in

Last line....ouch

That’s kinda like suing themselves, given that the HOA is small. Also, fuck HOAs.

Agreed. The HOAs I’ve dealt with use a law firm to handle all the... well, legal stuff. I think the homeowners could sue the HOA or even the firm that manages it. Maybe. The problem with suing the HOA: The HOA gets its money from homeowners’ dues.

Honest to god if this was offered in the US I’d buy it cash tomorrow. My work commute is only 10 miles round trip, all side streets. I’d buy this thing for commuting and then buy something funner for weekend jaunts.

Every time I see these mods, it doesn’t make me want to play the game, it makes me want to stroll around the world. Just sightseeing and driving around with no destination in mind.

I have zero empathy for the pain people experience doing their hobbies.

Meh. I can honestly say I’ve heard all these songs over the last 6 weddings I’ve attended. Play what people have fun with and that’s alright by me. I’d probably be pretty pissed if that was a playlist for a road-trip or had to listen to during a traffic jam, but a wedding attendance of multi-generations and

I think you might be wrong here. Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon (Elizabeth II’s mother) became Queen when her husband (George VI) became king. As did Mary of Teck when George V was crowned, and Alexandra of Denmark when Edward VII became king.

I don’t believe this is correct. A princess married to the heir to the throne will become queen when the prince becomes king. However a prince married to a female heir to the throne remains prince consort. i would argue there is absolutely gender discrimination in this. It is basically saying that if you have a king

Sorry, generally that’s incorrect. Elizabeth II’s mother was Queen Elizabeth, and when her husband the king died, she was Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother, since I don’t believe “Dowager Queen” is a title. Since she was not a Queen Regnant (not a bloodline Queen) she didn’t get numbers after her name (because she

That’s not correct - they will/would be Queens, but Queen Consort rather than Queen Regnant. Effectively it’s a courtesy title. The consorts of Queens Regnant are called Prince because ‘King’ supposedly outranks ‘Queen’, so it would be placing them above their wife who actually inherited the throne.

No, Kate will be Queen Consort. Camilla and Charles are married morganatically, so she will not.

He did, a long time ago, I think. Liz put her foot down firmly (as she does).
