More like typeqwiter, am I write?

This is like the ‘little known fact’ that the guy who invented the keyboard left his name in the top row: Qwert Yuiop.

The headline says the mean spirited satire doesn’t hold up but the article is about how the gameplay and level design don’t hold up.

Whatever Earthworm Jim does right or wrong, it’s still one of the most memorable games from the Genesis era. I was never able to beat it, but that didn’t stop me from trying! I did however manage to beat Toejam & Earl 2, another unconventional platformer from that era.

A Brazilian friend of mine confirmed this. Huge in South America, but when it was released here, I didn’t even hear about it (though it might have been during the time period when I was only just getting into anime). I am curious to watch/read it, though, since it was a contemporary with some of the other early Shonen

I’m of Latin American descent and can confirm this was everywhere in Ecuador when I’d go visit as a kid, but literally nowhere in the USA.

Why not just rerelease the original? I remember Netflix distributing a remake of Cyborg 009; I tried watching it, but the CG animation was awful and distracting.

You had me at Ingaliish.

“Props for having this level of ondemand bowel control.”

“The police were unconvinced, and placed Boos under arrest and into the back of a patrol car, but then began beating his head against the patrol car window until police were forced to remove him.”

Well, I’m sorry for what happen

Certainly in Italy they have a “table service” charge. Particularly blatant with coffee, where you get a 2 euro cappucchino if you drink it at the counter, but it’s more like 5 euro if you sit and drink it. Restaurants you don’t even notice it since there’s no option for not sitting down (take out, I suppose?), and

You’re basically renting the table. Outdoor cafes do it a lot. You’re basically paying the restaurant’s overhead that’s usually wrapped into the food and drink cost. That way, you can basically stay at that table as long as you want and regardless of how much, or how little you order.

You don’t pay to get in, but it’s a charge that’s added to every bill. I’ve seen that in Italy but not really in France or Germany. Sometimes, there’s no “real” cover but if you touch the bread that’s waiting for you on the table, you’re paying.

Username checks out.

I’m probably focusing on the wrong part of the article, but seriously... Cover charges just to get into a restaurant? What the hell????

USB A to Cat 5/6. There’s nothing special about it. You don’t have to buy the Hori brand. In fact you can get one for less than half that price on Amazon. I did for my WiiU.

This was California, not Texas. The strict gun control laws in California make it impossible for anyone law abiding citizens to ever shoot anyone else.

He definitely appears to be intoxicated. I think he doesn’t even know there’s a car in front of him, as he keeps revving his motor, changing gears, and steering.

After watching the zoom on the driver, I’m guessing he was either on something, having a weird medical episode, or a malfunctioning replicant
