Even the first one?!

I won’t be happy unless I see Thrawn cut in half.

Disney should really release a limited series Rebels recap that gets us all up to speed.

Just did the math: It’s 27.5 hours to watch Rebels.  Is there some kind of “essential guide”?  I’m sure more than half of it is filler.

Hera looks sooooooooooooooooooo bad. honestly they all do, but she stands out the worst

While I’m well versed and have seen/read everything, I really want this series to start with a live action retelling of key parts of the end of Rebels if this is going to be the inciting incident (Thrawn / search for Ezra).

Just to keep the volume down on all the people who will be yelling “Glup Shitto” over and over at

Agreed. To know Ahsoka, you have to watch Clone Wars. But to know Sabine, you have to watch Rebels.

George Lucas took genres that had been largely ignored by filmmakers, space opera and science fantasy, and turned them into a license to print money (well, for him, at least — most of the imitators sank at the box office). He accomplished this by focusing on setpieces and story beats, and relatable movie archetypes,

Chasing the mass audience of the 70s is a mistake. Building a new audience by bridging all levels of consumption and providing rewards for both is likely the best they can hope for. And that will likely be plenty lucrative if they do it right...

Zooming out, I think the broad outlines of what you’re laying out in terms

I wonder what the next phase, which seems heavily movie-focused, is going to look like.

Rebels will be helpful for backstory on Ezra and Thrawn, too. But you’re not wrong about Ahsoka. She’s not really a part of Rebels outside of season 2 and one of the penultimate episodes. I suspect she was mainly there to throw Clone Wars fans a bone after the show was cancelled in the wake of the Disney acquisition

Having just watched Rebels for the first time, I’m sure watching it will be helpful for the Hera, Chopper and Sabine stories but honestly... Ahsoka didn’t do anything in Rebels except for fight Vader and get revived after not dying in the first place, so o for her story it feels like you can skip it entirely.

I kinda feel like there’s a big divide in Star Wars fandom. There are the people who saw and loved the original movies in the theaters back in the ‘70s and ‘80s but hated the prequels, basically the audience that Disney initially had in mind when they bought Lucasfilm and greenlighted The Force Awakens. Call them the

“Have you noticed how slow they talk? And so much whispering!”

I agree he doesn’t have the charisma, but one thing he is better then Shatner at is showing just how tactical and intelligent Kirk is. So to me it’s a bit of a wash.

Haven’t had a chance to watch the new episode yet, but Chapel definitely looks in a good mood in that screenshot.

Her connection is that “the photograph wasn’t locked down so she stole it”

Am I missing something or is her “collection of NFTs” one NFT?

The question is, do they get this HD release right this time?  It was one of the first shows to embrace filming in wide aspect in its day.  And while the last remaster was sharp-ish, it was also pan and scan.  Is it possible we’ll get to see the whole thing in its proper full screen aspect ratio now?  If so, I might

I mostly enjoyed the episode, though as stated in the review, it was something we’ve seen before several times.

T’Pring is such a joy.
