I thought it was the second case. The knife kind of made the point - Vadic would just drop it if she were a Changeling.

Yeah, I mean, that changeling was disgusting. Did Odo always look that way? No wonder he didn’t want anyone to see him go into his bucket.

Seems something Scott would build for funsies.

That was a very big “Ship, out of danger?” moment I did not want to see coming. Thankful we didn’t get it.

Making Luthor a Silicon Valley bro played by the guy who best played a Silicon Valley bro could have been a good idea. Alas, nobody knew what they were doing with the character.

Yes. Otherwise Wesley never knew about a brother (he probably knows now) and Sub Rosa makes even less sense.

Wouldn’t be surprised if Shaw had daddy issues. Vadic mentioned his psych profile was complicated.

Jack Crusher Sr. *was* Jean-Luc's best friend.

Honestly, given that Star Trek VI was largely filmed in TNG sets (corridor, engineering, transporter) you could make the argument that there are parts of the Ent-A that were still present on the Ent-D.

Ironically, there IS precedent in-universe for that: the USS Defiants. You have a Constitution-class Defiant with one registry in the TOS era, and two Defiant-class Defiants in the TNG era with their own registries, no suffixes. Each ship stands on its own while being connected on name recognition alone.

No spoiler tag anywhere in the article. Pic of Cassie Lang in costume right there. Even if we knew she was in the movie, would’ve liked to be surprised to get Stature on screen.

At least in Discovery they had an excuse to do it.

That’s something else that bothers me: it shouldn’t have been an “A”. When the OG Enterprise went through a massive refit from TOS to TMP, it didn’t get the change in registry. Excelsior went from NX to NCC when it stopped being the transwarp testing platform.

I think it would have been really powerful to just show the same Luna class we've been seeing in Lower Decks. It would've helped connect this era of Trek in a way we haven't seen since the few TNG/DS9 crossovers.

I’m honestly surprised that a Gen 1 cool car like Mirage has been spared so far.

Not after the first round of transmetals.

In the original Flashpoint storyline, some things changed (Batman, Superman, etc) while all the Green Lantern stories remained untouched. A lot had to do with Geoff Johns writing both Flash and Green Lantern and not wanting his storyline to be affected by his own universe-changing event, but you can argue the same

which leads into Flash, which resets everything,”

Agreed. His “there have *always* been Avengers” feels endlessly forced and honestly, doesn’t match the grandeur or the scope of Hickman’s “Avengers World” run.

Seconded.
