I have found Rogue One to be a perfect starting point for Star Wars (it's a cleaner intro to the Rebellion, to Vader, to the Death Star) and I think Andor might have to go first now.

I would say that whatever savings the show has from, say, not having to build snow sets all the time is offset by the CGI needed for the dragons. 

No. No. Eff no. We’ve seen Lindelof handle legacy IPs and sci-fi movies way too many times to not believe he won’t self-indulge in the worst tropes of the genre. Alien, Star Trek, Cowboys & Aliens, Tomorrowland. This man should not be trusted with Star Wars unless someone at LucasFilm really wants more TROS. 

Well, yes. So far we’ve been shown the Empire as overall “Bad, but Cool”. Andor and Rogue One before it are showing us what it’s like to actually live under imperial rule.

So happy for him. Dude should be in more things.
