There are so many other ways you could make that work though.

Yes he was.
Honestly, the only reason I want George Kirk alive is to end the Kelvin universe. I like the concept and I love Beyond, but it seems like it's unfinished business for Trek (though it was brilliantly acknowledged by Strange New Worlds).
Or even Lower Decks, for that matter.
Was it me or was it clear to everyone else that this wasn't the first time this had happened?
An overnight coup, literally. Credits didn’t show Matt Smith or Emma D’Arcy so you kind of figured out at the beginning that it would have to be an episode that didn’t include their reaction to Viserys’s death.
Would’ve been great, but didn’t we see George Kirk’s body flying towards the viewscreen?
Still astounding to me that people wanted the Snyder Cut to no end but are okay with a movie that was supposed to have the Michael Keaton Batman just vaulted and it's okay for fans, apparently.
He was an actor in the movie that was axed.
There seem to be a number of new ship models in the trailer, but it sucks that the Titan isn’t the Luna-class. Not only is it cool, but it also connects Picard to Lower Decks. And it makes sense that Seven is given a powerful but old, potentially refitted ship to command.
Did Valmond expect to live while calling the king’s daughter (and the wife of one of the realm’s biggest badasses) a whore, to their faces, in front of the Iron Throne? How did he expect it was going to go?
Daemon 2: Moar Daemonic. “Aemond” is Daemon in pig-latin, even. Amazing casting, too.
Did anyone else feel like this was the moment Alicent just imploded? It's probably not the first time she's had to do this but having Rhaenyra in town probably proved the point to her that maaaaaaybe she's being too much of a hypocrite while shushing her son's rape victim while wearing heavy religious symbols.
Yep. It happens afterwards. Aemond waits until Viserys leaves to be an asshole.
Also, to some extent, Henry Pym being a SHIELD-funded scientist/operator.
Throwaway line and a solid photorealistic artist that took a pretty nondescript design and elevated it.
So many questions:
Give us some Clark-as-Superman journalism stories and I am happy. Glad the Superfamily is undergoing an in-universe rebranding (needs more Krypto though). Though Jon's costume feels like a step back towards a Superboy look.
Iris and Jai aren't just in Wally's continuity, they're back and currently in-universe!
Nick was not retconned in the Marvel Comics Universe. The black Nick Fury is actually Nick Fury Jr. The original Nick Fury is still running around as an ally to the Watcher.
