You’re assuming that most people can afford the car outright.

Ah see? That’s why I stick to eating Crayons.
I live in the South. Non-Working A/C is an instant ND for me.
I don’t get this one. He has too many choices, but he likes Volvos. Get a damn Volvo then! That leaves you with like 3 cars to test drive that are under $50k.
Teal Manual Wagon > Brown Manual Wagon
Completely irrational NP. I love it. It should probably sell for half of the asking, but if you really want one of these old wagons at an affordable price you have to take what you can get.
This is a certified JalopGold NP.
For those of you fortunate enough not to know who Michael Shellenberger is, he’s a corporate shill with a background in public relations. He has zero training in any science or environmental subjects, but he is handsomely paid by the nuclear power industry and various conservative think tanks for his “contrarian”…
I can't disagree but way off point
“Name another business that can legally discriminate based on sex, age, marital status etc.”
Hyundai really fucked up and there is no excuse. Chipped keys are so cheap now, it is negligent to not have one. It would be like shipping a car with no AC or radio, that is just standard stuff now unless you pay Porsche to take it out lol.
I, unfortunately, recently paid a visit to my city’s police impound lot [someone complained about my currently registered B5 Avant parked on the street, and got it towed…I don’t want to talk about it], and 3 out of the 5 people in line were there to take a look at their stolen car. There is a separate area for…
The Jetta. What was once an attractive and unique silhouette today just says “car”.
Ford Focus. It was an automatic SE Wagon, but that didn’t stop it from being completely forgettable. I had just come out of a ‘92 Saab 900 Turbo 16v, and it was a night and day difference. It was cheap transportation when that’s all I needed out of a car. I don’t even have a picture of it, and even back in 2012 when I…
Gotta be honest with you - A GX470 being a first car and the least memorable is pretty bougie and sounds more like an operator problem than a car problem. It’s a rear bias AWD V8 wagon with a good stereo that can hold all your friends or all your crap.
The new owner still spent $8500 over sticker for a now used car, lets not gloss over that.
I want to NP this one bc I like Audi 5000s and 200s. This one just seems tired. It seems like a $1000 car to me. It’s never going to be a show car, just treat it as a errand runner/beater and don’t venture out of a 10 mile radius from your house with it. At $6k, it’s an obvious ND.
Gotta be kidding. This is just a runner or a scrapyard car. It’s not a $6000 starting point. It’s not even a $6 starting point. The seller didn’t even bother to clean it. And neither would I. Just give it away if you don’t want it.
ND - Dented, ripped and looking like a $40 motel room after a trucker’s party. Rare but almost dead is how I see this sad Audi. It’s a $2,000 car for someone who craves it, at best.
I like the RLX, and Hondas are likely good to go until 200k+ miles, but $15k for a 175k mile example at a DC area dealership that advertises “where your job is your credit”? No thanks.
