Did you want them to build a new tinny crap can? Just like the G wagen, and how by 2019 you were just driving a very nice version of a 70s era truck, it had to evolve. The current G is just as charming as the old one, and this Defender is a modern take on the old one.

Get the best 450 or 560SL you can, skip the 380.

My grandmothers 91 Calais was also maroon over maroon.

I know the GT3 Touring is the one I’m supposed to want, but I’ve wanted a manual (capital-T) Turbo since they went outta production over a decade ago!

If he stands by his country, why is he racing with an Italian license?

I didn’t know the LeSabre had a front opening hood. To me that takes the value of this Gran Nash from up $2k to $2500.

I like the CR-V’s quasi-tri-spokes, they remind me of an old Saab!

I was gonna say, the 164 came out along with the Saab 9000, and when was the last time you saw one of those? Aside from the badge, they share nothing in common.

I agree with everyone saying to get a Civic and pocket the extra $10-$15k. But..

Wait, Silver Lake is exclusive? Since when?

Not to be that guy, but the Jalpa beat the C4 to market by 3 years, 1981 vs 1984. So it’s the other way around.

20ish years ago we had the Blackwood, Escalade EXT, Sierra C3/Denali, Ram SRT-10, SVT Lightning, and Chevy SSR. I’m not a truck guy, but I’m glad they were trying things back then. Of course, that leads us to today where F-150 XLTs are now $60k.

The original TSX that came out in 2006 (?) was cool bc it was a posh VTEC Integra for the new millennium. Then the ugly second gen TSX came out with that revvy four or V6, just as the ILX took over where the base TSX left off.

I really like Mazda, not only their products, but also their ethos. But a big 2.5 I4 with or without a turbo mated to a 6-speed automatic? It just sounds so antiquated. I know it means “less stuff to go wrong”, but I can’t be the only one who thinks mid 20s mpg in 2022 is pretty disappointing.

Sure it’s a 2010, but it’s more like a 1998 with a different grille.
