I should’ve added “per se” at the end there. The older I get (34) the more conscious I am. But I haven’t converted to driving an EV, slapped solar panels on my roof, and I don’t bike to the train 3 miles away because I don’t wanna get their all sweaty. But I did buy a metal straw for my sbux iced coffees!

I suppose I should’ve said 30 mpg combined.

I’m not an environmentalist, but I’m also not a fan of wasteful conspicuous consumption. FCA must be the least fuel efficient automotive corporation in the US. Aside from the Pacifica Hybrid, does anything they shill get over 30 mpg?

Like every other passenger side wiper?

I was thinking the Mini Clubman.

The 2012-2018 US-spec Toyota Yaris also had a pantograph single wiper, as did the LFA. Complete opposite ends of the Toyota family.

Saab 9-3X.

There is absolutely a market for $20k Classic Range Rovers. I see plenty of old Rovers, Land Cruisers, and Grand Wagoneers here in New England, covered with beach permits. This would be the third or fourth car they have on their seashell driveway, and they’d load up the kids in it and take it to the beach, or out to

You’re right, it’s definitely copper. I’m not sure why I wrote gold.

Who knew a swoopier front end clip with some gold trim and a set of Saab 900 trispokes would transform that generic ID.3 blob!

I want to like this, but between the C30, S40, and V50 triplets, the sedan is my least favorite. While the C30 doesn’t come with awd, they all have the turbo I5, and manuals are easier to come by. Now if this were a manual V50 T5 R-Design, maybe I’d be more tempted to give the seller a pass at this price.

I don’t think that’s a bad price for one of these. While $10k to me would put it into the daily driver category, I wouldn’t want to daily one. And for a usable toy, there are other ways I’d spend that kinda coin.

You’ve just got a Ford Zephyr with a chrome nose!” - Clarkson on May’s Corniche

I drove with Night Panel on (so lights off?) pretty much every night I drove my 2002 9-3. Just the speedo lit up to 90 mph at 3 o’clock on the dial.

Exactly, people don’t do 0-60. They drive away from a red light at half throttle. That metric is completely outdated anyways, and all the best times are timed with some form of launch control. Which again, people don’t engage at every stop sign.

I remember my friends dad had a 1998 XJ8. It just looked so expensive to my 11 year old eyes. All that chrome, and it looked so low and sleek for a sedan. And it had one wiper which I always asked for him to put on when I was in the car (he always obliged). I didn’t know the history of the XJ or Jaguar for that

Saab 900 and BMW E30. I know people picture all cocaine white Countachs and Guards Red 930s, but I always think of these two yuppie mobiles.

I’ve always loved the B7 Audi S4. The proportions looked just right, and I still think Audi’s 4.2 V8 sounds *chef’s kiss* just about perfect.
