In 2004 my then 74 year old grandmother bought a new Volvo S40 2.4i, and she thought that was going to be her last car. Unfortunately she was t-boned in 2014, and her much adored Volvo was totaled. She was then 84 and decided to lease a 2014 Civic. Well, the lease came and went and she bought it outright at the end of

Cars from the early 2000s (aka cars I desperately wanted in HS) are probably at the bottom of their markets. It’s not worth $15k today, but it probably will be in five years time. A manual B7 S4 Avant.. yeah, I’d take one of those!

I’m more interested in the supercharger. You can get a blobby looking 2008 LC relatively cheaply, and then and slap on a blower. Instant sleeper.

Current generation 4-Series Cabrios were never available with a manual (except for the M4), but all the previous generation E93 Cabrio versions did (328i/335i/M3).

I hate the bumpers too, but I actually like the quad headlamp look. Same goes for the XJ-S. To each their own!

They’ve been trying this ever since the Cimarron. Then it was the Catera, then the CTS, ATS, and now the CT4 and CT5 twins.

Are we sure this isn’t the same press release from 2013? It looks exactly the same.

Just like the M550i, I don’t like how going for the hi-po engine option automatically forces you to get the ugly M Sport package. I like how the base 430i and 840i look without the garish bodykit and/or the Cerium Gray trim that doesn’t exactly go with every color.

I’ll just say it, I think the weird 450 PS twin-turbo V8 550i GT is cool. For the same reason the R63 AMG is cool. No, it’s not an M, but I’d much prefer one of these compared to an X6 50i.

The JLR 5.0 supercharged V8 is such a beast of an engine. Much more unique than any of the 4.0 twin turbo V8s on the market. IIRC 2020 will be it’s final year of production.

Since this exists, it’s not hard to see why BMW got on board.

The 9-5 was pretty much the same car from 1999 thru 2009, albeit with a couple facelifts (what were they thinking in 2006 with those chrome rings around the headlights??) . The 2.3T was in the car it’s entire life, as well.

Am I the only one who never cared for A) The original Aston Martin Vanquish, and B) Brosnan as Bond?

He’s also done the Mille Miglia in an Alfa Duetto Spider, an Alfa Giulietta Sprint, a Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse, and his 550 Barchetta. If you’ve got a couple hours to kill, his channel is a great way to do so! Highly recommend!

I understand the business model for them, don’t get me wrong, but they just don’t come off as a “Lexus”

You’re right. It’s not.

Also, don’t get me wrong, I loooove GXs and LXs, but as a Lexus? I dunno, just sell a 4Runner with a V8, and ditch the Alien LX.

This, the GX, and the LX really don’t fit in with the whole Lexus ethos.

Look at all these heroes ensconced in their lifted Brodozers! Their limp flags adding only a bit of irony to the whole situation.
