Stories like this remind me that there’s still a lot of people who can look at an injustice and, “well, actually,” their way out of believing they witnessed an injustice. Best if those, “well, actually,” types are not in positions to make those judgements.

Dont disrespect Kevin like this. He’s not nearly as bad as this gremlin

Now all I can hear is Kevin saying, "...and I mean, I shaved it ALL off."

So Kevin finally decided to shave it all off...

Don’t be silly. There aren’t enough lawyers in the world to do that.

Fuck you being the one on paying for it, make that family members down her line pay for it, and if they don’t, bury them with her and him.

I think it's safe to assume that every cop you come across is racist until proven otherwise. And I say this as a pasty white dude who knows more than his share of cops. Of all the cops I've encountered through work or otherwise, I'd honestly vouch for only one dude as not clearly and obviously racist.

That “dah” FB that went viral must have gotten to her. She’s correct though. I don’t care about a yt girl who loved the maids in her life.

Except it is what happened, kind of. Supposedly the character of Aibileen was based VERY heavily on the author’s maid growing up. In fact, when the former maid and her children read it, they were very upset. She just stole their story. So, it happened but in the whitest most colonizing way possible.

I’m OK giving her the benefit of the doubt. Movie-making is a strange process, the script and scenes you start out working with may end up having little or nothing to do with the the final product. She might have had good reason at some point to hope or believe that the movie was going to be less mammyish.

And if we all roll over, we can have a real respectful and quiet fascist nation.

Would be great if the procedure actually works rather than a "make everyone feel safer" so they would continue to fly sham that it is...
