I thinik Giz took a very solemn and respectful approach to this story unlike others in the past (ie. the neighborhood gas explosion) and I appreciate that as I'm sure the Butler family would.

@robot-shmobot: exactly, I just connected my main computer to the TV with a 30 foot HDMI cable and a usb cable for the IR receiver, I don't need anything else.

@Jared Kent: I don't think that feature is implemented yet. What did you do to get it to work? I can't get it to work with my EVO and MBP. I do see the bluetooth icon the mac flash when the notification comes in but the notifier program doesn't acknowledge it.

@Arken: Fine, but do know that Ping is about as basic as computer terms come right up there with Ethernet, and IP Address.
