Haven’t watched this in years, but my impression from the article and the comments is that he’s been in quite a few tournament finals? Or at least the closing rounds of tournaments? If so, I don’t really see him as a loser or average at all. He sounds a lot like a young Andy Murray - never winning a major competition…

Wikipedia tells me they named one of their kids Elizabeth Rose. Which I kind of get, but they waited for their third child to do it. I don’t understand this. Like ‘I don’t know, James, what should we call this one?’

Slightly off topic, but I can’t remember a single instance of anyone praising coverage of the Olympics in the US. Meanwhile, practically everyone I know (here in the UK) positively raves about the BBC’s coverage. Perhaps this crap coverage is the reason for the large amounts of apathy towards the Olympics?
