You only mentioned it in passing but I love RC Cola. By far the best cola I’ve tasted, but very hard to find. I grew up in Massachusetts and there was an off brand supermarket there that sold the bottles. I’ll have to give Boylan a try, though, like all the drinks you listed, it looks super pricey.

Love the Law & Order universe, except SVU (too creepy!) My favorite is Law & Order: UK. It did not last long but was a great expansion of the series. A chance to see all parts of London, to experience the legal system over there, and the funny wigs.

I moved to Pennsylvania in 2003 and was surprised to see stop signs that read: Stop. Except right turn.

Travelling in Spain we stopped at a rest area. I went into the men’s room and there were multiple stalls. Instead of commodes each stall had a large hole in the floor and a handle bar on the right and left walls to hold onto while doing your business.

Point Lookout was an amazing DLC, and as someone who lives SE of Pittsburgh, the Pitt was a lot of fun too. Definitely check out the mods at www.nexusmods.com; tons of unofficial upgrades as well as mods that improve and expand the game.

Surprised there are no SAABs mentioned here. The 1999 9-5 sedan was my worst. I loved that car to death but bought it used and had a terrible time with electrical problems. 

How useful are the programs like Malwarebytes and the free Avast? Would these “catch” the malware you are writing about?

I aced the test for the learner’s permit, not one error, and still “failed.” Why? I was living in Massachusetts but born in Puerto Rico and the state trooper administering the test said I was not a US citizen. My mother complained to his superior, who promptly gave me my permit. I got a new Samsung off Amazon for just over $80. There are some good phones available under $100.

It happened to me twice by happy accident. One time I was in coach with an empty seat next to me. A mother and child came on the plane and needed two seats next to each other. I got bumped up to the only available 1st class seat so that they could take the two coach seats together.

I tried an emulator years past and got suspicious about the legality of it. I went to the Nintendo website and read that their ownership rights do not expire, so it was illegal then to use these emulators; I presume that nothing has changed in the intervening years and that it is still illegal.

Anyone use Dolphin? I have the mini installed on my Nook HD. Is either version based on Chrome?

Whitson, is there any way that I can get the comments to go back to the way they used to be with the Kotaku fix? Any option that I can set somewhere? For the Friday Open Thread I prefer to scroll down and see the posts in order rather than use this weird sideways movement. Is there some toggle I can set?
