Is the end of gaming consoles near? People are going to have their PCs with Facebook, and if Farmville is an 80 percent gaming experience, how many people in the gaming market will be satisfied with that?

How about Civilization Revolution, Mecho Wars, UniWar, or Wesnoth?

I fear that the gameplay will be as sloppy as stilted as that in GTA. That said, as long as the amount of talking outweighs the amount of walking and "action", I'll probably pick LA Noire up, at least as a rental.

I didn't care for the pilot either when my friends tried to get me into BSG. However, I tried again years later (with Razor) and was hooked.

@SageofMusic: I strongly disagree. I find that the most interesting gameplay results from the greatest limitations in gameplay. For example, Street Fighter II Turbo is vastly more interesting to me than Marvel vs. Capcom 2. Everything about the former's design is tighter, and the resultant player vs. player mindgames…
