@Cerabret100: Super (Spring 2010) is the current home edition. Super Arcade Edition (December 2010) is the arcade port of Super, with additional balance changes and the addition of a few characters (Yun, Yang, and non-playable boss versions of Ryu and Akuma). AE is the first update to the arcades since 2008's Street

@Pash: There's no "pause - quit" when playing Capcom fighters on-line. People hit the home button and reset the game, power off the system, or physically unplug the power/network cable.

@Chux: Plenty of people rage quit player matches as well. Someone will rage quit on me at least once per hour or two.

@Daniel Carvalho: And then piracy, naturally, whether it be of PS3 games or of SNES games or both.

@elmorepow: What's the difference between installing your SNES ROMs to the PS3 hard drive and installing your PS3 ROMs to the PS3 hard drive?

@: "Stuff" like River City Ransom, right?

@Kryptolojik: The controls don't change for the over-the-shoulder view.

@Mokon: 98% of podcasts may be drivel, but who listens to random podcasts? Stick to the NPR and Economist ones and you're golden.

I can't imagine playing Mega Man 2, Dracula X, Street Fighter II, Starfox, Chrono Trigger, Super Metroid, Symphony of the Night, Parasite Eve, Chrono Cross, Eternal Darkness or Wind Waker without their respective accompanying scores and deriving even close to the same level of enjoyment from the games. All were

@Krackato-ATOMIC COLLIDER!: It's an amazing system. I wish more fighting games would adopt it, particularly in this online era.

@KnivesMcBride: Because there are way more than 4 or so special moves per character. Marvel vs. Capcom 3 does have an easy operation mode with just a single attack button and a single special attack button (along with the two partner buttons), but the gameplay possibilities are significantly limited.

@The Cap'n: The Vampire/Darkstalkers games use "magic series" chain combos. LP-LK-MP-MK-HP-HK. So too do Capcom's Marvel games and Street Fighter Alpha 1. Rival Schools uses a similar system.

@ILoveTRex: But what about the fourth head of Cerberus?

Now playing

Love the Final Fight background (and the Cody/FF track remix) in the Haggar clip. I'm not entirely happy with Haggar's voice/dialog, but it's hard to live up to Zangief in that regard.

@ShaggyB: No, Zangief has Haggar's moves from Final Fight and SNSM. ;)

@blackscot: The ~40 character MvC3 roster is smaller than the 56 character MvC2 roster. Although the big names (Ryu, Wolverine, Chun Li, Iron Man, etc.) return, there are many, many characters new to fighting games (X-23, Phoenix, Super Skrull, Modok, Dante, Trish, Chris, Wesker, etc.).

@9600: WarioLand (VB) was awesome. Hope there's a 3DS port.
