@porkythunder: I can't think of a high-fantasy novel worth reading outside of LotR*.

@Ether999: Tolkien largely created the archetypical fantasy hobbit/halfling.
Players making use of tactics and strategy, instead of just mashing buttons and flailing about wildly? Break out the pitchforks and torches!
@Deathshot: Tron and Zero.
I hope that Naughty Dog can improve the character animations and the environment modeling (particularly the broken walls) by the time of the game's November release. Uncharted 1 was a good looking game for its time, but the engine was showing its age by U2; this barely registers as adequate.
@Ashurahori: Well, here's another clue for you all/The walrus was Paul.
Ah, Quake — the last great FPS.
I demand Naruto photoshops.
@Mischaraka: Nitrous Oxide is what is used to burn fuel faster, producing greater horsepower from an engine.
@Skillator: It's not "someone". We don't have absolute rule in the US. Instead, you'd have to have a minimum of 60 Senators, several hundred Representatives, and one President all simultaneously sacrifice their careers in lockstep for that to happen.
@battra92: And Nixon would be a far-left extremist. Supporting universal, government-run healthcare? Opening doors with commie China? Setting up the EPA? Enacting far-reaching affirmative action programs? He makes Obama look like Ayn Rand by comparison.
@Professor Bacon: My point is that using PC to refer to IBM PC-compatible devices is the only meaningful way to use the term "PC".
I find it a little surprising how anti-Rush everyone on Destiny is. Sure, he temporarily withheld/misrepresented some of his discoveries (for perfectly understandable reasons) and perhaps made a bad call with the shuttle, but he's also saved the ship and her people time and again. There's no one who works harder or…
@Professor Bacon: By what definition is the Nexus One or the PS3 not a PC but the iMac G4 is a PC?
@Jon Salichs: But what fraction of the players will quit half an hour in?
I expect Microsoft is treating the Kinect more like an accessory (which is typically sold for significant markup) than a console (which is typically sold at or below cost).
@xxJORDISxx: That's for the iPod Shuffle. The Shuffle retails for $49.
Someone had to post it.
@shinobiX200: You're right. There's also a bit about a kid playing Angry Birds on his iPad.
@ComplicitOwl: It's a first-person shooter. Explicitly stating the target demographic is redundant.
