@JoBo: I have an iPhone and many of the games Kotaku, Gizmodo, etc. have recommended in the past. But I can't think of a single game on the platform that isn't blatantly inferior to what I can get elsewhere or, outside of Uniwar and a couple puzzle games, that is even remotely enjoyable on its own merits.

@MarkoPolos: RE5 Gold/AE includes several new DLC missions. Microsoft, Sony and Bethesda have done the same thing with various GotY/Gold/Platinum editions of their own titles.

@scrapking: Listen, Ironhide. We don't have enough energon cubes to power a full-scale assault. Ready the shuttle for launch!

@Spoony Bard: Rent the regular edition, buy the GotY/Gold/Platinum edition. That's what I'm doing.

Love G1 Transformers. Hate iPhone games. What to do?

@wolflaser: I want you to make a special run to Autobot City on Earth.

@MarkoPolos: Aren't Sony and Microsoft and and Bethesda and Valve (to name a few) just as guilty of such behavior?

@TitillatedOcelot: It was hardly a "general concensus" that the game was going to take place in Haiti — Kotaku reported a rumor from a trusted "insider" that such was the case, but it was as wrong as most Apple rumors.

@Omnimon: No. I just enjoy fighting games. Well, Street Fighter. ;)

@iatw: I forgot about Scribblenauts. My bad. But like Demon's Souls, I think that its impact will be limited.

@gurfinki: All three games I mentioned were developed (or at least published) by Capcom. :)

@Piccoroz: Well, there were eight new characters added in for the console release (plus playable Gouken and Seth).

@DarkMachine: KoF's HD sprites were hand-retouched polygonal renders rather than being entirely hand-drawn.

@gurfinki: Like Street Fighter EX and Rival Schools and Tech Romancer. ;)

@Elpants: While I found DA:O excessively dull (outside of party chatter) and far too demanding of micromanagement, I can certainly see how many would find it a wonderful game and a real GotY contender.

Street Fighter IV

Galaga kept players moving in just two directions, but the stick at least tilted more ways than that.
