So they’ve come up with a way to waste perfectly good chocolate, is what you’re saying.

The entire focus of enjoyment of chocolate, for me, is the taste and mouth-feel. Clearly I’ve been doing this wrong.

Isn’t the whole point of chocolate that it tastes good? Why skip that part?

No gameplay, paper doll character animation, generic fantasy crystals and hints of hero collection. 100% mobile.

Surprisingly decent. Not amazing but more than enough for casual listening or gaming. Probably excellent for gaming, with the slightly boosted bass response.

Surprisingly good! I *finally* managed to snag a few pairs for myself and family - they isolate fairly well, are a *tad* bass-heavy but have decent upper frequency range.
Not audiophile-class, but I have definitely bought worse earbuds.
They also stay fairly well, and don’t drop off too easily. I could see wearing them

If only mobile games were more like normal games. I wouldn’t be as mad about them. They almost all end up like slot machines.

Yup. That generic character design and art style, and the fact that the guy was basically talking to someone (you, the player) by addressing them as his “master”, yeah most likely a mobile game.

Ya guessing its a mobile gatcha game.

Agreed.
The scene at 0:08 looks like a 3 vs 3 battle on some sort of small grid, probably with limited formation options. It could be indicative of some game play.

This is the real scary image.

Threats of and/or encouragement of violence are not and have never in modern times been protected free speech, even in the US. Not all speech is harmless, and not all speech deserves to be free of real consequences.

Well if that’s the case I take back my earlier statements. Because they LOOK better, but if they’re using materials that do that... beauty is truly only... um... felt deep.

Great article, but while I agree that the friendship between Sora and Riku is the driving force behind the story of KH2, and that the game is better for it, I think there is a blind spot in your argument, which I think it’s best summarized in this paragraph:

Kingdom Hearts 2 suffers not only from bad writing, but not ‘enough’ writing. In order to have a better (or hell, ANY) understanding of what is going on in Kingdom Hearts 2, you had to have played Chain of Memories, and even THAT didn’t prepare you for the cast of throw away villains with 1 or 2 lines of dialog

I think the real explanation here is bad writing. Sora and Kairi definitly have a romantic connection in the first game. Then by the time the second game rolls around Nomura has turned Sora into the typical anime idiot protagonist, who is a one dimensional simpleton and the butt of all the jokes. I think more focus

The dev stated they were not aware of that translation, and said that if it were to come out in that area they would come up with some different name.

Money goes to the production committee. The animation studio is generally not on the production committee but is instead contracted by the committee to produce the work. In that way the studio is already paid whatever amount is setteld at in the contract. Profits from the BDs and merchandise do not go the studio.

Nah , that really have nothing to do with paying the animators . Here is how it goes : A Japanese publisher ( usually Kadokawa ) want to animate a manga because it may bring profit to them , so they give a sum of money to a studio and ask them to do whatever they can with that sum of money , which including paying the

Apart from what other people has already say, there’s the issue that even the more successful studios don’t invest the extra money in giving it to their employees, including executives.

They invest that money in making even more anime. As in, more different series at the same time.
