I started with my favorite game...which turned out to be Rule of Rose for PS2 x_x I decided to go for my other favorite horror games, and eventually had the EXTREME luck of an old friend of mine finding it in her old box of games, and gifting it to me! my collection is pretty small, about 12 games, but they´re all my

Man, I went to a ThatPoppy concert where they played that song on loop for about, I want to say 2 hours before the show? And the crowd went insane. It would be waves of giggling and singing along, followed by groans every time it started again. Rinse and repeat. I can’t imagine it all day!

Maybe useful for people with eating disorders? like, to make sure they’re at a good weight range without sparking any obsessive symptoms that come from seeing a number? That’s my first guess.

It’s been lost?? whoahhh that’s so unfortunate, I would have loved to hear what it sounded like! and you’re so right on those popular Argentine shows. NO idea how our parents let us watch Ranma 1/2 with all that sexual innuendo LOL- the sticker album was one of the hottest things to have that year. Thanks for that

Was Mikami that huge in Chile?? I had no idea! I grew up in Argentina and watched it; I knew a few other girls at school who enjoyed it, but it wasn’t incredibly popular. I’m happy it is there though, I loved that show!

I grew up in Argentina and everyone in class was watching it! (Super Campeones, or “Super Champions”...it doesn’t have that nice of a ring, but dang it was popular!)

Fatal Frame doors scared the bejeebuz out of me as a tween; especially in the second game, which continues to be my favorite
1) oh god what fresh horror is this room
2) oh god here comes a terrifying ghost
3) cool, I beat the ghost and collected all the items in this room
4)...Oh crap now I have to go to the next room
5)

Fernet con coca <3 can’t drink any without being instantly transported to my high school years in Argentina, bless.

“They say for every one roach you see, there are supposed to be a thousand hidden behind the walls” SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP I SAW ONE TODAY IN THE BATHROOM AND COULD DO WITHOUT THIS INFO ;;-;;

The end if Nier Automata, I was crying!

I’m pretty torn on this one, but I think I’d say GrimGrimoire’s world. I mean, yeah, it’s a more JRPG-esque Harry Potter (to the point where Gammel Drask’s name was changed to Gammel Dore because hurr durr it’s like Dumbledore!) but i honestly loved its world, the idea of studying Glamour, Necromancy, Alechemy,

I feel the same way and am glad to find someone else who thinks this. I mean, it really is fantastic animation! But when the humor isn’t to my liking it ruins the enjoyment for me, boo :(

FATAL FRAME 2 DIRECTOR’S CUT. FATAL FRAME 2 DIRECTOR’S CUT. FATAL FRAME 2 DIRECTOR’S CUT. AAAAAAAA

Everything about this- the female mortician, the death positivity angle- reminds me Caitlin Doughty also known as “Ask a Mortician” on youtube. I really recommend her videos, they’re incredibly interesting and deal with the death industry, iconic corpses, death destinations (“deathstinations”), etc. with a big ol’

Thank you very much for the feedback! I’m very interested now and might get it O:

Is it anything like Omega Quintet? I went into THAT game thinking it would be fine but, in my opinion, was just a barrage of anime tropes and a terrible male protagonist.

Toys R Us is so iconic that even though I only spent the first 4 years of my life in the US, I still remember the heck out of that store and how much I sobbed when my parents wouldn’t buy me things.

My mom had a strategy though: when she knew she’d have to detour past it, she’d go to the dollar store and let me pick

Unfortunately it is homophobic :( South Park’s episode didn’t magically turn the word into a humorous insult to bikers since it aired, it’s still used as a slur against gay people.

Persona 5 does something similar for “Mission Start!” and it charmed me :D

Just to give my perspective, I was irrationally scared of videogames as a kid- the idea of being in control and then failing a level gave me palpitations, I swear! haha

So I’d beg my friends to play FOR me (going as far as buying the games I wanted to see) and loved every minute of it. I was always more interested in
