Actually more often than not the faces are those of perfectly ordinary people. And that is an extremely noteworthy thing in itself. Anyone could fall for an ideology of rage and hate. It’s not just freaks, nameless aliens or Voldemort. There is no evil “that should not be named” Evil should be called out and named.

No. Looking at the face of somebody gives a type of information that cannot be conveyed in any other way.

No. I’ve given this quite a bit of thought- be we need to know who the predators are. We need to know about their backgrounds, their history, their pattern. So that we know what to look out for. Not publishing names and background information of murderers is sticking our heads in the sand. And yes, we need to talk

Aye, wish I could do that whole change into a bird thing though. That sounds wicked!

I’m actually a 48 year old woman with autism. I like myself just fine alone these days. And I’m shameless about my LOTR geekery :D

I own several Lord of the Rings replica swords... I wonder if that is  the reason I’m single?

I think she’s okay. Looking good is part of her job. and she is a professional. no judgment is implied; we can all go on with our lives knowing that we don’t have to deal with the pressure of being an aging Hollywood Elf.

Jesus christ. I get out of bed, take a bath and brush my hair. That’s it.

As a woman, who lives in Europe, I generally prefer practical clothes without holes in them. But each to their own, and if you like your clothes with holes you should buy and wear them. But I mention this because for me personally, this was the main reason why I did not go back to this shop to buy things.

Mango? Tiny Spanish sizes. And yes, H&M isn’t what it used to be...

yeah and that Jesus thing what the fuck is up with that? And at the same time selling clothes, that well, each to their own, but as I said already what is it with all the slits and holes in places that are normally occupied by underwear? I’ve seen shirts in their collection I liked, and then you try it on and it has a

I’m shocked about how good C&A is becoming. It’s a great place to go when you are plus sized, and always decent quality. H&M is under fire. I don’t even go to Zara any more because they will not sell anything over a certain, relatively small size. I’m not even mentioning Mango here.

That empty shop is now occupied by Primark. Still shit quality clothes, but they will probably survive because they understand the European market better.

They had two shops in Belgium for a while, they went out of business here couple of years ago. I went to their absolutely huge Antwerp flagship store a couple of times- and I marvelled at the clothes, just how awful they were. I’d sometimes see something I liked, and then you have a closer look, look at the material

I’m Dutch. I can still hear my mom ask “Are you made out of sugar? No? Then you can cycle to school in the rain, you’re not going to melt.” There was simply no way she would bring her kids to school in the car in any kind of weather. Whining would not help at all. So yes, there is a certain underlying toughness

Now playing

There’s also an ongoing tradition of African women potters.

Oh the delicious butthurt! I hope it is true!

I’m no fan of him but I think that is exactly the point of him. He’s a decent singer, not a looker, and kind of unimpressive. What he achieved seems achievable. He’s okay, maybe somebody you know, and his massive success means that maybe every one of us could achieve success in the right circumstances. he is

Combination of poverty and shame probably... it’s terribly sad.

Wow, she is amazing. And how often we forget that pottery is the woman’s art. When pot shards are dug up, it is automatically assumed that a man made them, but historical evidence does not support this.
