I haven’t vaped, but I have experienced the big white sickly sweet tasting cloud some self-satisfied vapers like to blow in your face. In that aspect, it seems worse than smoking to me. The health aspect is questionable, because there are so many chemicals involved that we don’t know the long term effects of. Good for

I refuse to believe these things HEMA sells are sandwiches. Sandwiches involve bread that is sliced, with stuff in between. These things however- no slicing, just all around. They are abominations. I want one, right now!

Not related, but- If I had a horse, I would call it Stable Genius.

Question? Is there any legit health and safety reason why one would need a license to braid? Are licenses required to cut and dye hair in Tennessee? I can see why a piercer or tattooist would need a license, so maybe there is a reason that has to do with public health, somehow.

Say it loud and proud girl!

You talk to a Briton today and he will say the same about the Polish. Or the Romanians. Or the Albanians. Racism is real, but it is far more complicated than the simple black/white story.

I somehow like Charles more after reading this. Especially for the booze bit.

Now playing

he put up a follow up on that that takes into account that the bridge did not fail right in the middle. Still speculation of course, but a lot of it makes sense.

As somebody who studied architecture I can confirm this. Being arrogant seems to be a requirement for the job.

Grape seed oil is pressed from the seeds of grapes, and is as such a by-product of wine making. Rape seed oil (or oilseed, or charlock, or colza oil) is pressed from the seed of the Brassica napus plant which is known for its bright yellow flowers.

Eels are also farmed on a large scale in the Netherlands. The problem is though, that the tiny glass eels these are grown from still come from the wild. They do not spawn in captivity. And this means that the wild population is still very much under threat. Shame, because they are amazingly good...

Eel in green. Classic Belgian dish but not really my thing, I prefer it filleted and served on white bread as they do up north in the Netherlands.

Smoked eel is the best fish of them all. Very popular in Holland, just serve on a soft white bun. But it’s a rare treat these days as it is overfished and very expensive...

But why not just eat pop corn instead?

I don’t know, but they actually published a cooking book in their own style and it is pretty awesome.

Well I eat mussels and oysters and eels so I don’t see how this is much more disgusting, as a thought. If they can make it taste good I would definitely try it. Maybe they should try a different name. Hey, it worked for rape seed oil (which is now called canola oil!)

The headline is misleading. No-one stole anything. They just resold something they bought at a profit. Which the monks may not like, but it’s perfectly legal.

I think I would stay at home, get roaring drunk, make a few passive-aggressive phone calls. Then maybe put the garbage in all the wrong bags and throw the old tv off the balcony.

Thank you, I learned something!

I don’t know. The lego bricks I played with as a child in the 1970's passed on to my cousins and are still being played with. I visit many flea markets, and often old toys are being sold; lots of Barbies with ratty hair but I rarely see second hand lego. Because lego does not wear out, remains compatible, and is
