Bill Reid is amazing.
Bill Reid is amazing.
This. I’m from a similar Calvinist background- it’s amazing what they will defend- and what they will be offended by! But I’ve never heard a Dutch person defend letting the general population own machine guns. But, that does not mean this person does not exist. Still, I would like to see the argument. It seems a…
Mediagenic, well spoken, LGBT, fun, POC, did some really outstanding baking with original ingredients- of course they snapped her up. But apparently you think she does not deserve her success because to you only looks matter, and not all her other accomplishments. Shame on you.
Well as I said earlier, I had a similar medical problem and because I live in Belgium, I’m alive and well after a hysterectomy for which I paid about 300 dollars. My heart bleeds for poor Susan because I know part of what she went trough.
Goddammit that makes me angry. I’ve had a similar problem- severe bleeding because of uterine fibroids. It was horrific, and I put off the operation not because of costs, but because I was scared of it. In the end there was no way out. The hysterectomy went well and I brought my leftover depends to a second hand store.
Having recently had a major operation here in Belgium, I thanked heavens on my bare knees when I saw the bill. We complain too much about what we have. No health care system is perfect, but what we have is pretty damn good.
I could, but the troll is probably long gone...
Hey Socialist Country here ( Belgium) went for a hysterectomy back in November... I got excellent care, and I was able to go for a second and even a third opinion. Time between the decision being made and the operation itself was about two months, as my operation was not an urgent one. Healthcare was not completely…
I’m in Belgium. I had a hysterectomy in November, and the bill just came in. It’s all specified, the tests before, the hospital stay, the meds, the care at home, the tests afterwards- the total cost for me €286,88. The part I had to pay myself was for the meds that are considered “over the counter”. You also partially…
I’m a 47 year old woman with decent skin. I take a bath in the morning and use a good quality bath foam in it (usually something by Kneipp) and use a cotton cloth scrub my face with the warm water. That is all.
They are a little intimidating, and really quite large! Also a male like the one in the picture that has his full display feathers will want to show them off. Not something you want in a tight space. Also, they are incredibly loud. And being birds, they have no control over their waste disposal.
Yes, this! Another Dutch person here. This article is bull.- Also, “niksen” is not something our culture regards kindly. At least not in my Calvinist background... The general idea is that people who aren’t given enough to do just cause trouble, and wasting time is a sin.
I’ve got an uncle and aunt named Harm and Joke. Perfectly fine if you are Dutch, but their parents should have done that international translation test...
I almost got into a relationship once. The guy was nice enough, and he was a sailor, which meant he was away for 8 out of 12 months. I thought that was the most attractive thing about him, and realized in time that that was not enough to build a relationship on. Kids were never even considered.
I guess you wouldn’t want to get any of this in your eyes?
Ow properly bawling now. Bless you little guy, and may your days of sorrow forever be behind you!
It’s a bit like early cars that looked like horseless carriages. This technology demands a completely new design, but for now they are hanging on to what people are familiar with to make it all a bit less scary.
I got mine in early november, and suffered absolutely no side effects this time around. I’m always advised to get the shot because I have asthma, but this time it really mattered to me because I was about to undergo a major operation (hysterectomy) and I could not afford complications.
