The Evil Dead does exist, it a horrendously low budget horror film (incidentally Sam Raimi's and Bruce Campbell's first film I believe) so it kinda gets a pass. Also Evil Dead 2 is essentially a better written, takes-it-self-not-as-seriously higher budget version of The Evil Dead.

This right here, I remember reading the Dragonsriders of Pern books, and The Harper Hall of Pern series, Then I read The White Dragon, but when I got to Dragonsdawn it blew my mind as everything in the entire Pern series made complete sense.
