Nice job making a grown man tear up this morning. My first car was a ‘73 144. I learned how to wrench on it, and wrench I did. Brake jobs, alternators, radiator and water pump, fuel injectors, car audio, body work, upholstery, electricals, you name it. Got me through HS, College, Grad School. All of it. It was no

Everyone seems to underestimate exactly how corrupt Tim Lee is...

Keep in mind that Lee only managed a runoff by 47 votes. 47. This was his last parting shot to ensure his future after his corrupt ass hits the pavement. Hopefully, this will be the first thing overturned by Mike Boyce.

It's because DC doesn't actually own the cameras. They're owned by ACS, who has a ton of motivation to give you a ticket.

DC will also fuck. Your. Bumpers. Up. In a matter of hours. Doesn't matter where in the city you park.

Nothing fancy here. Just a little Opinel. This one is stainless, but they also make a carbon model. Around $10. Image upload keeps failing.

“Better”

Same here - an S55. There’s a reason I got into the Merc. They’re relative tanks for what you get. ABS can be an issue, and the fact that damned near everything runs on compressed air, but other than that, they’re pretty solid cars.

When I leased one in 2013, it came with a 5 year guarantee to not lose more than 10% of total capacity during that time, or they’d replace it. That tells me that in 5 years + a week, it goes Thelma and Louise.

Except for the whole datamining of browsing behavior that happens with Chrome. Other than that.

Exactly. The fuel injected 144 I had had a badge on the trunk and a computer under the passenger seat.

Yeah - in theory if you keep getting the letters. Open question as to whether VA’s system kicks you out after getting one letter and then a successful test. It shouldn’t, but you never know.

And be $480.

I’ll second that. I had a 2012 HEMI Overland without air suspension. It wasn’t going to tip over, but it wasn’t exactly “spry” in the corners. That car’s sweet spot was 50-80 acceleration in a straight line.

Vacuum lines. All flipping over the place in FSJs. One of the first things to do is replace them all, because they’re all cracked. All of them.

How about the #1 step of not using Chrome at all?

I’m assuming that you’d be escorted out if you yelled, “HORSESHIT!” like fire in a theater?

Folks, it wouldn’t be just a forefit of the deposit. By bidding and winning, you are agreeing to pay. One way or the other, they’re getting it from you. Whether it be an official or unofficial collections agency. It’s not like they’ve never had to deal with that scenario.

The funny thing is my insurance went up on the Merc from what I paid on a 2011 Grand Cherokee Overland.
