When you’re directly responsible for killing 200 000 Americans, who never had to die but did because Trump wanted to ignore COVID-19, you are not allowed to claim you have moral superiority.

You need to remember Romney believes that Jesus magically teleported to North America and taught the indigenous people his ways and then buried golden pages in some random spot that would be discovered by a known conman, who then refused to show them to anyone at all.

Also remember this theater is an attempted distraction from the ongoing pandemic/economic disaster that Trump manufactured. The fascists can ram through a SCOTUS pick in record time but can’t manage to put together a rescue package that would actually help millions of Americans trying to survive right now.

Problem is, the conservatives packing the lower courts will happily grant injunctions stopping implementation of any legislation the Dems pass, forcing the issues up to SCOTUS.

Unfortunately Trump’s packed the lower courts too. So basically....view the entire judiciary system as toxic for the next 25 years, and find a way to work around it.

He’s like McCain in many ways, makes big public statements opposing the admin, votes with the admin when it actually comes down to it, and may make hollow gestures knowing that it will make him look good but will change nothing.
