Not in the big cities. NYC would be perfect with open drinking laws.

Drunk driving happens all over the US on a constant basis, especially in more rural areas. I mean, everyone that goes to the bar has to drive home at some point. Most of them are above the legal limit when they do so.

And yes, a bottle of red by the

Those were cases traced to it without a tracing system in place (like Europe has, for example).

The real number was likely much higher.

People clearly did give a shit about Lollapalooza. The protests were generally full of people wearing masks and not packed indoors, so there was little way for the virus to find new hosts.

Sturgis footage of last year showed packed bars, proud mask-wearing defiance, tons of trumper flags and all that.
Perfect breeding

Eh. It always boggled my mind that noone is allowed to drink in public places in the US. This always felt like such a restrictive thing to the joie de vivre. Cannot grab a bottle of wine and drink it by the lake, no sir.

Having shot car commercials for the French market, this is very much true. And it can pose a challenge for the filmmakers..

Have you seen car rental prices recently?

2300 for 3 weeks seems on point.

Such a great analogy. Thank you.

Nevermind.

It was that time my buddy and I were scouting remote locations in my 996. The sun just set. We were somewhere far from cell reception, on a small road in the high desert. Upon turning around, I hit the one exposed part of my engine on a rock. The exposed part? A coolant hose. Coolant started spraying out the back. Pani

Umm..

I saw my mistake later after posting my comment. You’re right.

Same here. I severely lack the ‘drive’ for more.

Musk didn’t invent Tesla, he booted the original founder out after acquiring stake in it.

He’s not an engineer.

Eh, the Buick Regal Tour X is a rebadged Opel, so bringing up Buick makes sense.

I like it.

Okay, you win the internet today. Well done.

Tailgating. Especially in a huge truck with blinding lights. At 80mph. On a crowded highway.

Whoever thought that the video was of enough quality to be made and shown to the public should be fired.

It looks like a cheap b2b promo video, poorly made.

I just did a 2500 mile road trip these past few days (on mostly 75mph highways). I’m glad the speed limit isn’t higher, folks don’t stop tailgating like idiots even if they go 90+mph. Which is basically just asking for a crash.

Nah, young people in Europe have a similar ‘badge of honor’ style about being able to drink a ton.
