The anticipation of bad luck on my 996 has the same limiting effect on RPMs in relation to operating temperature.

(Yes, I tucker around under 3k until fully warmed up, then it’s foot to the floor. Not really, but up the rpm range)

Never ever. I hope that folks will see it as clearly as we do here.

It boggles the mind, doesn’t it?

I lol’d.

Same.

Emotionally charged and a dog whistle how?
I agree with the rest of your statement, but this I’d need further clarification on.

I had the same thoughts.

Outside impacts? As in: “I’m not allowed to roll coal?”

Political by nature? Under the current administration maybe, when it comes to the director of the EPA (Pruitt, who was an energy company lobbyist up until Wheeler who isn’t any better, at all), but that is an effort by the current administration to neuter the EPA.

What Bradley said below.
“Respect the law (as if, it’s more a fetishization of certain untouchable elements of violent law enforcement) enforcement officers” while ignoring the law.
It’s kind of an important piece of info to complement the picture.

Yup, saw one yesterday.

The overlap is there, though.

The same dolts scream “come here legally, like my ancestors did!”.

It’s not hypocritical. One is using the freedom to customize a vehicle. The other is restricting the freedom of others to breathe clean air.

Niche viewpoint? As in, scientists applying their findings to a workable solution for our society?

You do understand that the EPA is not a political institution, yes?

Nah, it’s some Russkies thing.

This.

This.

Aside from all the snark:

Congrats. And having recently driven a Tesla (Model 3 one step above base model), they figured out how to make EVs and the cars of the future not boring, but a hoot to drive. To that I raise my glass.

It’s sadly seemingly very popular.

Eh... Summer tires get really hard and non-grippy around 45 degrees, becoming kinda like pucks to drive on.
So if you live in an area that gets below a certain temperature threshold, regardless of snow or not, winter tires are a must.
