I wouldn't say as big as Casterly Rock (isn't it built into a mountain/cliffside?), but yeah, Horn Hill seems to be quite too big.

Pretty much my feelings as well, I am enjoying the "unfolding of events", but the tone and overall satisfaction of the emotional moments hasn't been as strong as in past seasons.
Did he have the overgrown fingernails? I'll have to rewatch to see, but that's been one of my favorite little details about the Mad King.
Yup, at least it can be said for the show that (for the most part) their casting has been fantastic.
True enough, it's just that Hellhorn played a big role in WHY Euron would get elected in the first place and the show didn't offer anything in its place.
"Why am I so mediocre?"
Very eloquently put, and in adopting that particular reading, it helps me to appreciate the play's role in the show even more, in addition to my overall enjoyment of the show. So thank you haha
And seeing as Brynden "Bloodraven" Rivers is both a greenseer and Targaryen, the connection exists.
Well the "BURN THEM ALL!" rambling is what took place when Jaime kills Aerys and the pyromancer, I think the flashback also shows this briefly.
Nope, I think it's all sort of implied since the show is setting the Faith up as your traditional, strictly conservative Church.
And I do wonder how much of Dorne's issues lie within the fact that because of that specific location they only had one week to shoot all the Dorne scenes.
Oldtown shall be glorious, though. :)
Those were largely me and my viewing mates' impressions as well, in particular to the fast hour and tonal dissonance. Very pumped to see what's remaining of the war in the Riverlands, in particular Riverrrun, of course.
Watching Drogon come swooping overhead, landing to reveal Dany perched on his back reminded me of why I love the dragon-rider fantasy concept. I'm very fond of how the show has designed these dragons to look, Drogon is like cooled lava!
I feel ya, whilst I caught on to the humor and tone of the show rather quickly, beyond a few songs it took me until my second viewing before I really started to like their music.
That movie has had be literally rolling on the floor laughing, lots of good visual comedy in the editing and such as well.
Those scenes of 3ER and Bran where they're just laying in the dark cave, eyes glossed over, are very well-filmed. The music, the camera angles, the overall tone are so tasty.
Right, I mean in the first National Treasure, wasn't the Sean Bean villain on the same excavation team as Riley and Gates? But then got greedy or something and tried to take the loot for himself.
The actual treasure hunting and puzzle-solving aspects were downright delightful and thrilling, plus Cage and the others turn in fine performances.
Well the manner in which the show has presented Greyscale does seem to suggest it plays some larger role comparative to what we get in the books. I'm curious, to say the least, how this will play out.
