I've enjoyed the ride thus far, but I do wonder how much of the delay of Winds of Winter is because of GRRM getting tangled up in his own knots. I wish him the best of luck, haha.

I'm sure bringing the army to Winterfell is no walk in the park either, last season showed how desperate the winter conditions are in the North.
Does Euron know the cheat codes, though?
Ooh yeah the long hair makes them much more mystical.
Plus they've got wicked rhymes, Yo!
Perhaps, I can buy that explanation.
Amen to that, the teleporting factor on the show is getting out of hand. Whilst I acknowledge that it's not so major an element as others, the length of time and distance travelled plays a large role in the narrative, limiting the choices and actions of characters, upping the stakes across the board and dramatic…

I noticed Podrick was in the line of people including Sansa and Jon and everyone, so perhaps he will be going with her, most likely ;)
And then the dragons burn he and his fleet, eh? xD
Yeah that that seemed to be her whole platform was comically silly.
Ooh yes please!

And it seems to have served no purpose! Summer's death was completely unnecessary, sure it bought them a few seconds of time, but the fireball suicide did just as much.
It waters down the fantasy flavor (tone) that GRRM has for his series. You'd think that the visual component of the show would help in that regard, but instead we just get…plainness.
They were both interesting characters with definitive personalities that further informed their respective cultures and had understandable motivations.
