Damn, I wish my parents were into gaming. Anytime I play videogames they always say I’m not doing anything productive.

Models are definitely hit or miss, especially smaller scale, but I’ve been quite fortunate with the quality on my complete figures from Robot Tamashii/Damashii, especially the new “side” lines, like Side MS, ANIME, and even Labor from Patlabor. Looks like this guy always uses complete figures and not models for this…

Nah I have both variants of that Gundam figure from the ANIME line, they’re insanely solid, zero issues and nothing falls apart or off.

I was thinking this exact thing. My wife’s been wanting a Switch of her own to play Animal Crossing. Since she tends to drop things, I’ve been hesitant to let her use mine in the interim. Getting a more powerful unit for myself and “gifting” her my gently used unit would not be a bad idea.

Seriously. My wife and I are currently looking into buying our first house, and I think we’d both love to have a greedy raccoon as our mortgage lender, especially since he lets you go months without paying a dime.

I let my five-year-old play the demo. He is NOT good at video games yet. He loved it. My almost two-year-old got REALLY into the part about finding cows. I don’t know why, but somehow he understood: “find the cows”.

My girlfriend and I have also discussed the very real possibility that we will need a second Switch for her once Animal Crossing comes out. Fingers crossed the Switch lite (or whatever it may be called) rumors are true...

My wife and I had the same experience a couple years ago with Yoshi’s Wooly World on 3DS. We stumbled on a demo in Target and she just couldn’t stop smiling or put it down. I’d never seen her do that with any kind of video game before. So, we picked it up.

Flubbed the landing there. Should have concluded with “the only person who got nailed that night was on-screen.”

No wonder he came in third.
