I’ve been around guns all my life— both of my parents are CPL holders and have active interests in firearms. Your comment has been the thing they’ve said on repeat for decades.

Just gonna leave this here

My favorite holiday of the year!

Thanks for being awesome! When I was a regular, the one manager was great. Genuinely cared about the customers and accommodated them in any way he could. Heck, back when the 3DS Majora’s Mask release was coming out, he knew I wanted the special release with the Skull Kid statue and made a special call to me to let me

I don’t know... where I live, things like this aren’t very commonplace; Gamestops are though. It would be really cool to see at least one of them converted into something like an internet cafe or retro-focused gaming center. And based on how often “the regulars” already hang out at the Gamestop I generally go to, I

I have to rescind my statement because I did find a shiny last night while I was winding down in bed!

I typically do the bulk of my shiny hunting in bed. Riding back and forth on the bike, hatching eggs can really put a person to sleep.

There have always been ghosts in the machine

I probably would have too! I love that after 20-odd years of Pokemon experience, I can still learn new things from a 7 year old.

Yeah, Spinball is at least just pinball. Aside from being a little choppy, given the LCD screen, it’s really not bad compared to the others. I did find one of these Tiger Stix Shark Bite in my bin too and it’s actually... good? Good for an LCD game?

Yesterday I pulled out the two that I still have floating around— Sonic Spinball and Animaniacs— installed new batteries and gave them a whirl. I have absolutely no idea what I’m supposed to do in Animaniacs, but Sonic Spinball was fine... but LCD screens don’t make for the best pinball experience. Both music loops

GOD, I forgot about that shooting game! I don’t know why anyone thinks a mini-game to transfer your Pokemon is a good idea.

While I don’t have any kids of my own, I have a lot of younger cousins (9-12) that game. They’re really into Minecraft and I’ll hop on sometimes to play Fortnite with them (even though I’m terrible at it). They also really appreciate all the older gaming stuff from my childhood, so I definitely love that. The kids are

KANEDAAAA!!

It would have been so easy to download the digital versions of R/B on the 3DS eshop, but I appreciate the insistence on showing your niece these things on their original formats.

I too, in my excitement for ACNH, went back to my ACNL game after being away for a few years. Returning to Pallet was somehow both comforting and depressing. While I was saved a lecture from any of my townsfolk, they were worried that I had become a recluse, or worse, didn’t like any of them anymore.

Breath of the Wild. I hadn’t felt that childlike sense of discovery since... Well, childhood. I’ve replayed it a few times, but it’s never the same as the first time

My favorite Pokemon are always the ones no one else seems to like.

Uh no, clearly Dunsparce is the best Pokemon.
