Good lord, AGAIN?! This happened to me in BL2 and COMPLETELY killed the game for me after that.

I think it just looked intimidating to him, especially since the controller progression went from 3 buttons and a D-pad to the N64 spaceship that, to him, looked like you needed 3 hands to hold. I don’t think the move to 3D helped either.

Metro-Detroiter here! Everywhere around here is overrun with these honking bastards and you can’t do a damn thing about it. These asshats will hiss and chase you without provocation every chance they get.

I kinda felt the same way about every single Zelda game. I always get to a point where they feel like home and I don’t want them to end, so I put off the final fights until the very end.

I think you may have missed that Squirtle is wearing a top hat made to look like a Yamask— Pokemon that are, essentially, deceased humans who carry around masks of their former human faces and cry when they look at them.

I was always more interested in the base game itself, so it’s nice to know that at least that’s very good [especially given that I have the Dreamer version on order]. Wouldn’t be surprised if Nintendo is just testing the waters before investing in a *true* Zelda dungeon maker.

It’s because of Kotaku’s “this is actually pretty good” pre-review that I pre-ordered this last month.

who knew all anyone needed to do to make exercise appeal to me was turn it into a turn-based rpg?

My plan’s basically just been shiny hunt in Let’s Go Eevee until Link’s Awakening comes out and then finish that before I throw my life away in Sword/Shield.

What I love most about RCG is that my wife is actually really invested in it. 9/10 video games just aren’t her thing and I can’t get her to actually try anything out, but the simplicity of side-scrolling beat ‘em ups seems to be a win for her.

I learned my lesson after BL2's game saving issue that corrupted my file and made me lose everything riiiiiiight before I was about to beat the game.

It is very much a weedmower at this point. I’ve not seen grass in ages.

I’m not positive I’d be willing to spend that much on a model either-- but I definitely get the sentiment. I’ve dropped $120 on a Gundam model before but I’d never be willing to spend that much on just a figure.

Right. Being a homeowner means that even if I could scrounge up $600 by the deadline, I definitely shouldn’t spend that toward a toy. I mean, I love Unicron and all, but this thing costs more than my lawnmower!

Glad to hear that it’s comfortable to hold and doesn’t feel cheap. As much as I love the Switch, my biggest (non-complaint) complaint is that it doesn’t feel as comfortable in handheld mode as I’d like. It’s totally fine, but there’s always this thought in the back of my head where I wish it was just slightly smaller

That’s actually a really good idea! I’ve used maple syrup (of course the real shit!) to sweeten up some desserts instead of dumping in a whole bunch of sugar. I don’t eat a whole lot of cereal these days, but I might have to try that.

YIKES! I knew I avoided parks at night for a reason

Back in May when they were doing the Lapras raid day, we were in a more populated city and there was a huge group of people participating. We basically strolled around the city in a line and every raid stop someone would walk up and ask what the hell was going on.

I stopped playing soon after its launch because it just... wasn’t exciting or good, but I picked it back up last June so that I could send things to Let’s Go and I’ve played pretty much every day since.

Definitely going to devote [several] hours to shiny hunting in Let’s Go Eevee.
