I never really had a problem with the base NMS game post-updates, but Next definitely wowed me. The system I was in was completely overhauled— one of the dead planets is now a bright blue and red ringed beauty teeming with water and life.

I mean, what else were you supposed to do?

Yeah, $10 was a steal. So even if it was terrible, I wasn’t losing out on anything.

I snagged it used back in November at GameStop for $10 on PS4. Despite all the hate it gets, I still find it enjoyable to play. I guess some of the updates made it more enjoyable as well.

I have zero self control.

I ended up buying it. I have no self control when it comes to art books.

I already own Sonic Mania on Xbone and Switch; I even have the ridiculous edition that came with the statue and fake Genesis cartridge. I bought the DLC at midnight.

I wonder how well my wife would respond to me putting "blasted" at the end of every sexual act. Because it's... Not gonna happen if I ever want sexy time again.

Yeah, imagine trying to explain that to your girlfriend too. “No honey, I stopped before anything got serious; I only fingerbanged her.”

I feel ya. I even have the ridiculous collectors version that came with the Sonic statue and a fake Genesis cartridge for Xbone. And then I was too excited to wait, so I bought it for Switch to play during lunch release day.

If I didn’t already have Sonic Mania on Xbone and Switch, I’d be really tempted to get that physical release (it’s still really tempting regardless). I’ll definitely be snagging the DLC tomorrow though, that’s for sure.

Yeah! Mewtwo’s just trying to do his thing and Giovanni keeps getting in his shit about it.

I’ll take it. I still watch MSB at least once a year for nostalgic purposes.

Do you? I’ve made zero claims that “there are no games” for the Switch. I check the Nintendo store weekly— I know for a fact that there are plenty of games that have been released this year.

I just went through Nintendo’s 2018 release log because like, maybe I really did miss something big... and yeah, I’m not really interested in anything on the list. That’s not to say they’re not great or anything, just nothing that I’m personally interested in. And that’s totally fine; I have two other systems to

I guess it bothers me a lot less having all three systems; there’s at least always something for me to play somewhere. But aside from a few indie titles, my Switch has basically laid dormant this year.

I’m a little up in the air about it as one of the 3 people who did own a Wii U, as I haven’t bought a new Switch game since last year. I haven’t really been picking up re-releases (outside of MK8) because I’ve already played everything already and I don’t particularly feel like buying anything again.

Super hard decision now that I’m actively thinking about it, but probably Koffing.

I demand more anime Jeff Goldblum!

I remember renting Pokemon Snap as a kid and really enjoying it because it offered some slice of life moments and Pokemon in their natural habitats.
