Same. I went from excited to letting out a disappointed “ohhh” when I saw GO’s catch mechanics. I stopped playing that about a month after it released and haven’t gone back; just wasn’t for me.

I really just keep it around for third party titles and playing with friends. I pretty much use my PS4 exclusively for first party titles. That list is rather extensive too— between GoW, Horizon Zero Dawn, P5, and Detroit, I’ve got enough to occupy my time until Spiderman.

I bought a PS4 on Black Friday and I think I’ve used it more in the past 6 months I’ve had it than I have my Xbone over the course of 2+ years. I only really got one to begin with because it’s what all my friends had. It gets turned on maybe 3 hours every week for our brief streams and that’s about it.

I’m glad I waited until seeing reviews before running out to pre-order. Sounds like a game to pick up on discount or wait for its eventual drop on PS+

No, I think it has more to do with where we drop versus where everyone else does. I generally survive until the end by not engaging with anyone and sticking to the edges of the map. Good gear drops tend to be few and far between, so I guess that’s really why.
