I know it is not the same, but I know someone at a Boston hospital that was thinking of getting a moped. His boss pulled out the stats on how many people working for the hospital died on mopeds. He didn’t get a moped.

Mercedes said the same thing when my C300 had to have two engine rebuilds within a month, 4 months after I bought it CPO. I told them there is no way rebuilding the same engine twice is a good idea. Now I have to keep taking it back because it is leaking oil, gas and/or coolant, probably due to the rebuilds.

I’ll admit there is a toxic culture around trucks, just as there is with tuners, stancers and other car cultures, but it makes up a small percentage of the market. Most people buy 1/2 ton trucks and never modify them significantly. Maybe 1/2 ton is still more than they need, but just like HP and 0-60 times, these

If you think potential mass murder is justified due to trash throwing, I think you may need to seek professional help.

That’s like asking how many people who buy sports cars actually take them to the track, or drive over 100 mph daily. The answer is not everyone, but vehicles can do more than one thing.

I’m convinced 80% of people who buy pickups and full size SUVs could live their lives exactly the same in every meaningful way driving an Accord instead and just renting a truck for the 1-3 times a year they actually need it.

Except all of the politicians are rich. With the exception of AOC the rest are in the $10M+ club. Even Bernie is married to a billionaire.

He did try a homeowners bailout, but never got it to work.

No, and I didn’t have anything to do with it, other than being in proximity of the person who did it. It just reminded me of the case above. I understand why the truck driver would have been upset, but not run a school bus full of kids off the road upset.

Any thoughts on these? It’s a tri ball hitch with a welded hook rated for 10,000 pounds. I don’t go offroading, but always wondered if this would be a good ‘just-in-case’ thing to have. Also, the tri ball is handy for the different size trailers I use.

I had something like this happen before. We were on a field trip and the guy next to me threw a cup of sunflower seed shells out of the window, and it hit a big rig in the window. The driver tried to run the whole bus off the road. We got away, and the police caught up to the driver. As others have suggested about the

So we should expect to see an increase in post race ‘accidents’ to the cars? Like a teammate stuffing the winner in the wall on victory lap to throw off the inspectors.

They probably wanted a car that would actually get crushed. A 7,000 pound domino might not have been enough to crush a B body.

It lightens the weight of your wallet?

Quick, we need to let them know we have found the next Dr. Who villian:

I don’t know what they should do, but they should not, under any circumstances, go the direction of the Monster Trucks movie.

I went to buy a used car from a Chevy dealer. When I got there, the price was $1,000 more than online. When I asked about it, they pulled it up on their website, and it was the $1,000 higher price. Then I checked the site on my phone. It was the price I saw before, $1,000 less than sticker. Apparently, they had a

Yes. Also, I thought the reason these were not more widespread was because if you let the back window down at highway speeds, it can draw exhaust into the cabin. I want to say back in the 90s there were some cases of CO poisoning from it.

Dry snow, which has zero percent water

This. I have literally argued over floor mats when purchasing a car, because they are so expensive.
