It’s a weird thing,... They weren’t popular enough to sustain themselves, but they’re still very popular on the used market.

I have gotten a lot of vitriol for wearing a mask while driving. This includes being flipped off, brake checked and my favorite: being paced by an angry, glaring, shouting person.

Oh sweet irony.

Yeah, if I’m running errands, why take off the mask in between stops? I’m generally not bothered by it if it’s got a nose wire so it doesn’t fog my glasses. 

As an added bonus, if you drive while wearing a mask, it will be easier to contest those revenue collector automated tickets.

I was never a fan of the show, but after I saw the episode (by random happenstance) where they flung a car with a trebuchet and supposedly blew it up with a homing missile which was very obviously fake computer graphics, and everyone treating the event as if it was real I just assumed that everything TG touches is…

Yea, I think thats really the main point here. This was clearly a promotional video. Dissecting the promo video was a huge waste of time for everyone complaining.

Seriously, a normal sane person who notices this would think, huh Top-Gear seems to have mixed up the video and move on with their lives and let the experts (Guinness) do their due diligence. Meanwhile in the wacky real world we now live in these people spent countless hours trying to prove SSC didn’t set a record.

Now this person is dropping some science. This is the part that seems to be misunderstood by most screaming about lockdowns and masks. Focus has been on mortality but that isn’t the most likely negative outcome.

I will concede that an F-350 dually diesel (or any full-sized money-printing truck) probably gets all kinds of loving attention poured into it by some of Ford’s very, very best engineers, whereas my NV200 is trash.

I call bullshit on that. Even as a diesel, how does a dually F-350 long bed crew cab making 400+hp get the same mpg as the NV200 I drive for work, which makes about 130ho from a 2-liter 4-cyl?

All it needed was a theme to be the world’s first DONK.
