I mean it seems like she’s literally being called on it? I don’t think anyone’s giving her a pass, myself included.

This is what I’m leaning towards, and it came out ham handed and she rightfully got called out on it.

I mean I’m not some Jill Biden stan, but it does seem like she apologized aka owned it?

I saw a really good analysis of this yesterday and basically it came down to that Jill Biden obviously meant well but totally stepped in it and came off as a little racist, and rightfully apologized. Folks, she’s a community college professor - “everyone wins” is like her entire career, she’s not a sports person. If

Hey man, I’m team teacher here and I agree she should sue - I just don’t think this suit is going to make anyone any safer in the long run. My dad was a high school teacher for 30 years - I have all the empathy in the world, and I don’t know how people stay in the profession in today’s hyper hostile climate.

I definitely think this woman deserves something for going through this ordeal, because it definitely sounds like there were big mistakes made. However, bankrupting the school system isn’t going to make them safer. Sue the gun company for the big bucks, I say.

Thank you yes I came for this comment. Budweiser hasn’t been an “American” beer since 2008.

Agreed that this column is usually a celeb pitching their own thing, but an exception should be made for when Debi Mazar did it - they should all be this good and useful.

My fellow libs, this arrest is not the get you think it is. Trump already has his base all fired up about this being a “witch hunt,” it’s just the election denial all over again. He’s going to go to NY voluntarily and make it a whole production to get photographed doing the perp walk because he knows it’ll get all the

Thank you yes. I came to say that the cork is kinda dumb but people do all kinds of sort of dumb rituals in cooking and swear by them, and they’re harmless. It’s the DOG that’s the gross part of this. Not a dog hater, but just uughh gross - peering into the pot and he’s touching it and shit, this is so disgusting and

Yes this exactly. I’m 47 and men my age still say this, especially in social media dms (and I have never posted a thirst trap in my life - it could literally be a photo me like hugging a grandparent).

“I jacked off to you” - a statement almost every man thinks is like the highest compliment.

I have this rapport more or less with all my exes, save for one or two who I just lost touch with (and one who really just was a bad person at the time of our relationship). I don’t go out of my way to talk to them, but I also don’t dread bumping into them and do things like exchange memes every now and then, etc. It’s

This take is so bad. And even the parts that I do agree with - that we should have universal health care and eat the rich, are shot down by the other big headline on Jez today - that Amanda Bynes is hospitalized again, so having wealth and privilege is not the insulator you think it is. People are largely really not

I’d like to add to this that it doesn’t sound like she’s doing anything about the mice - just accepting their presence like pets - which allows them to breed and proliferate. Which is ... why her building has mice. As someone battling a recent infestation in my formerly mouse-free apartment building, this is super

Yup. CL is obviously very smart and certainly good at a grift, but she sucks for so many reasons (and I’m not a “Kurt was murdered” truther). I’m squarely in her demographic as a Gen X’r but it’s Never Courtney for me.

I mean people know that this Q&A was scripted and cleared with the celebrities, right?

“I think these are people that are living their life in a public forum, which is very difficult,” she told Andy Cohen. “There’s so much infidelity in the world. It’s not like they murdered anyone.”

The Jez-reading incel troll accounts are highly activated today.

I really appreciate when famous people share their recovery stories - they’re a big part of my recovery toolbox. In fact one of the reasons why I went to my first 12-step Zoom was that the mayor of Boston (at the time) talked about them during one of his pandemic press conferences. It wasn’t so much like “oh I love
