Communism was also about equality.
Communism was also about equality.
He had absolutely nothing to apologize for. Hilarious ya’lls call Trump a Russian agent, when you’re acting like the Soviets.
(rubs hands)
So trans* people aren’t remotely oppressed by any stretch of the imagination, is what you’re saying. Are you gonna start voting Republican now?
The people who run reddit hate /r/the_donald. You can see the way they’re treated is a complete double standard compared to SRS or the other left-wing subreddits known for harassment and breaking rules. If it wasn’t for the inevitable backlash of censoring literally the POTUS himself, it would’ve gone the way of…
That’s not remotely what I said. I’m just pointing out one side is being suppressed by the corporate elites, while the other is being promoted by them. To assume it’s all about ‘muh hate speech’ just strikes me as naive.
“Muh rayciss”
>I’d expect a hardcore communist/anarchist web forum would have an equally hard time attracting ad revenue these days.
Weird how quickly the progressives become shills for the corporations as long as they say “hate speech”. Blacklists are good, as long as it’s not the 1950s and wealthy Communists aren’t the ones being fucked over.
It’ll never stop being disturbing how excited Democrats get about other people being silenced. No wonder why you lose elections.
It’s more that I consider social media plays a similar function to the news. A lot more editorial control would be expected on someone’s blog.
Reread your post and notice how much of a brainwashes extremist you sound like. Anyone who disagrees with you = paid GOP trolls? lol
I always hated this one.
Your forgot the third part again:
leaking sex tapes is illegal, supporting a presidential candidate is not. shit comparison.
Fox *doesn’t* remove pro-Bernie comments, and it would be shitty if they did.
it makes me scared people who read gawker teach high school students
That’s the point, instead of the public making a fuss, gawker commenters seem to celebrate censorship when it’s in their favor. Of course, if Facebook censored an LGBT or BLM activist there’s no way they wouldn’t be pissed off.
You have it completely backwards: ANYONE CAN CENSOR FREE SPEECH. It’s only unconstitutional when the government does it.
“Censorship” by private entities doesn’t violate the Constitution, but it can violate the values of “free speech”. We should expect news media to be impartial and tell the truth, not suppress stories that their funders don’t want heard.
