I’m glad I’m not the only one.

Dear From Software: Miyazaki said he wanted a scifi game. Well... ^^
weirdly enough, I’ve noticed pokemon are *easier* to catch. So far the higher CP mons have been easier for me, but the lower CP ones seem a bit more difficult. Overall I don’t think it’s that big of a change.
I’ve always liked Flareon’s design better (she just looks so FLUFFY), but even in gen 1 I almost always evolved my Eevee into Vaporeon. Vaporeon simply has the best stat distribution and in a game like Pokemon Go where the speed stat is almost meaningless (where in main games speed is everything), tanky pokemon like…
Pro tip: You can snake gyms out from under whoever beat it because the gym goes neutral before they claim it. This is the perfect opportunity to troll people with your 99 Magikarps.
Oh, you mean pokemon that were top tier in the original games are also top tier in Pokemon GO? Big surprise :p
But also leave the app running while you drive so you can hatch eggs (but don’t play it. DON’T YOU PLAY IT)
This myth has actually been busted. The game needs to log you as moving a physical distance in order to hatch eggs.
so you have to walk more than 5 km to hatch your egg instead of sitting on your ass with your phone taped to your Roomba to hatch eggs? poor baby
the only problem with that is that people could cheese egg hatching with it by just jiggling their phone a bunch. Pokemon GO currently forces you to actually move the distance required to hatch the egg now which I think is a better system.
but if you used the shortcut you wouldn’t have been able to spell out KONG and your inner completionist would have forced you to go back and do the whole level anyways.
Yes we must protect our kids from video game violence. Why the other day I saw a child jumping on a turtle’s head and crying when the shell wouldn’t spin across the street and kill other turtles. This madness must stop
in my experience it’s both. It flashes green when you’re facing the selected pokemon, and also when the list updates. It can be very confusing. However I’ve found a couple pokemon using that trick. Just check your nearby list when you see the green flash.
I would say “most” people probably consider SSB4 the superior game based on the number of people who play it as opposed to Melee. Or were you referring to competitive players only?
Yeah, and hipsters use typewriters instead of word processors because they do one thing that they think is better than the many things the newer version can do.
Who are you quoting? No one said it needs to die. I said it’s time to let it die. You know, like every other Gamecube title did (except Twilight Princess which got 2 remakes for some reason).
I think the fact that Nintendo seems to go out of its way NOT to have wave techs in Smash games now is an indication that at a minimum they were not intended to be as broken as they are.
Those very “techniques” were never intended to be part of the game. To me, they’re cheating. Without those techniques Melee is clunky and awkward, at least to me.
People who insist on continuing to play Melee are like hipsters who insist on using typewriters. Oh you have to use whiteout instead of backspace and there’s no copy/paste? Sounds broken to me.
And here I thought you meant the Wipeout TV gameshow...
