I think so, but we'll see. Fingers crossed… it's Liv's boyfriends that always die after all.

I guess since she's in a different show they're writing her out, although moving to Italy is just as good a way of doing it as killing her. The rules of TV say she doesn't have to be dead - we didn't see the body after all - and she did seem to click to what Harvey was all about faster than the Fillmore Graves boys…
I don't think it's clear but there's an impression of more than jilted lovers. I think they're suggesting DarkCoop visited her after leaving Twin Peaks and did something that has left her severely traumatised for the last 25 years.
I felt he changed into and out of his spider form, we see the spider on the beams of the ship while the slave is praying for guidance. But I agree it's not 100% clear.
The vaping fits with the technical boy "most up-to-date, gadgety way to do things" image though.
In the series we saw Mr. Nancy on the slave ship travelling to America and then a piece of the wreckage being washed up on the shore as well in his "Coming to America" segment.
Amniocentesis isn't the only option for checking for foetal infection and you wouldn't routinely do it, otherwise the doctor that admitted them would have said "and we'll call the OB team to do that too" or similar.
She's been that way for a while. I can't remember when she revealed it, but she told Sarah and Cosima I think that she can feel all the clones and what they feel, even the ones they haven't met yet, ages ago.
I agree it shouldn't have involved Sarah abandoning her in the face of danger, that's not in keeping with Sarah's character, although she might just do it to save Kira.
I hadn't thought about that slant on it (sorry, missed the email notification). Yes I think you're probably right although I'm not sure about Serena Joy… just after Gilead was established I'd have agreed wholeheartedly but she's missing the influence, the access to news, even playing scrabble and I wonder if she's…
I think SJ and Fred love each other, probably, but they're facing the consequences of their plans and actions and both finding they're not happy with them. Fred seems to be a sort of PR guru rather than a true believer, he spun it as 'the ceremony' rather than 'the act' for example. But he is probably an embodiment of…
Some of the episodes are brutal and I would advise having something you like and that reminds you of the good things in human nature to watch after each episode, particularly some of the early ones. I watched Sense8 episodes to remind myself humans are capable of live, joy, art and making happy communities but you…
It's not covered in the book, which is much leaner than the series. It might be implied or mentioned for one or two cases but I don't remember it.
It's fat and protein and unless you get unlucky not much in the way of transmissible diseases (prions are rare, most other things don't survive stomach acids). It's not a balanced diet but it's not terribly bad for you as part of your diet. There's an ick factor but he's been eating brains for a while so, meh.
I agree it's tedious at the moment but I think it's going to grow, as Cooper wakes up the whole relationship dynamic is going to go in interesting directions, at least I hope so, especially since it's two of Lynch's favourites.
Lisa, got to ask why you're confused Cosima wants to follow the crazy science rather than escape, especially since there's a chance (EBro's schedule permitting) that her sexy puppy will be coming back there too?
Ah, I'd forgotten that. But no signs Moira ever gave birth we've seen?
I was going to say, given their anti-science stance, they might choose those who have had children already. But while some lesbians do give birth, they've shown no indications Moira is one of those, nor Emily. So they must be finding them through some other means.
The issue lies in assessing consent where you have a clear power imbalance. To take a fictional example, in OITNB it was pretty clear that the inmate (Daya I think) was consenting with the cute guard whose name I've completely forgotten, and although he was scared about the consequences, he consented too. They both…
In the U.K. It is legal in most circumstances for a 16 year old to have sex with anyone else over 16. While it's nothing like as fucked up as it is in Gilead, the law says no 16 or 17 year old can consent to sex with their teacher and most educational institutions make it a sacking offence for teachers/lecturers to…
