It's something to consider, and kind of flirted with in the "what is a God?' question that is left hanging. Odin, Jesus and a some more deities have a resurrection as part of their myth, so you'd expect them to com back. Vulcan, not so much, but there are plenty of other smith-type gods around to pick up the worship

I don't know what movie the reviewer saw, but I would give it a solid A, and I think it's probably the superhero movie I've enjoyed most in forever. Of course tastes will vary but I'd whole heartedly recommend seeing it, and seeing it with as many women and girls as you can.

I think she was making the best of being a zombie, found out about the cure, took it and faked her own death to get away from Filmore Graves. The interrogation of Major was to make the cure worked.

They did, but Peyton's assassin also had 34 hp which is pretty rock for a first level character except in 4e. She was also rolling about 8 or 10 d6 for the damage, which would kill any first level character in any other edition.

I appreciate your point of view, I might even agree with it actually. OTOH Lucifer is a friend, ex-lover and in some respects in a child-like relationship with Linda; he certainly goes to her for advice and guidance regularly and often acts on it, if not quite how she expects.

I enjoyed season one but thought season two was appreciably better. It seemed like they understood the characters and the structure better and wrote with greater variety and freedom, plus both the new regulars they bought in added to the show in their own ways.

Now I've had more time to reflect I'm more inclined to agree. I'm not sure I'd go as far as ridiculous but misguided I can certainly agree with.

If you were a doctor and you met someone non-verbal like that, you'd probably ask to look in their mouth quite quickly as part of examining them. Given they were detailing her abuse in a red centre as the cause for her behaviour, mentioning 'oh, and they cut her tongue out so she's mute forever, we don't know why'

I agree. While I didn't like the episode as much as the rest of the season so far, I think it did a pretty good job of suggesting that even a lot of pretty switched on, attentive guys wouldn't necessarily get it. I remember from the comments to earlier episodes a lot of women who wouldn't watch with their male

I'm not as annoyed as you, but I hear where you're coming from. I think the writers' room has changed and they're emphasising the things they thought worked, and doubtless do work in part, but losing some of the other elements that make it all hang together nicely.

Blaine sold astronaut brain in one episode so zombie could experience that, they might not deliberately trigger them, but they certainly get them.

I didn't really think you thought they lied, but I thought saying why they're unreliable was worth it, if not for you for anyone else that reads the thread.

More a case of 'is mistaken' it usually lists episodes aired to date, not total appearances in a season except for the main stars, so you can't predict for recurring characters.

Depends a lot on the criminal (gender, race, income before prison) and the type of prison, but that's true for some groups. It's definitely true for inner city gang-members, it might be true for Shadow who probably doesn't have good insurance. Someone like Piper from OITNB though, good job and so on, her life

I rewatched it all a couple of years ago and didn't find it hugely helpful tbh. The main characters I'd have probably recognised anyway, quite a few of the others (particularly the young ones) have changed a lot and I didn't recognise them, not just by Ewing them at least.

I'm under the impression Bill's meant to be from London though?

I didn't get the impression that was what they were going for with that line. He has always been willing to trade on his reputation as a killer in great numbers to scare people off without a fight which is exactly what he did, again.

I rewatched that scene and from the look on Bill's face I think she's said it every way she can short of "I'm a fucking dyke, I'm more likely to hit on you than your toy-boys" and it's clearly not getting through.

Most of the colleges of The London University were founded in the 19th Century, a few are older, sometimes much older (back to the 16th Century in one case). The only one that's anything like the time frame was founded in 1964, but only awards post-graduate degrees, so it wouldn't take Bill without a degree already.

The book is set further in the future than the TV show. It's not clearly specified, but 100+ years is the impression that's given. So the ROG wasn't imposing itself on the Boston of today, not originally, but the TV show has changed that.
