“Merriam-Webster.” I wouldn’t trust anything Miriam-Webster says, she just married into the family.
Except you’re wrong. Shooting Brake refers to a vehicle you can hunt out of; a Jeep is a more of a Shooting Brake than a 2 door sports hatchback thing is. Just like most automotive body descriptors, it doesn’t actually mean anything anymore.
So, what, now a “Grand Coupe” is not a thing? Face it, as the Trump administration swept in on a cloud of alternative facts, we have to accept that nothing means anything anymore. Shooting Brakes are not immune to this post-post-modern lack of objective truth. Two doors, four doors — who’s to say? Maybe it doesn’t…

Like the Party of NO (as they were called during the Obama years) is suddenly going to cooperate and work for the people? LOL.
Aren’t the automakers made up of good upstanding people?
I guess some might worry about competitors going after the low-hanging fruit, so they don’t want there to be low-hanging fruit.
If you are good company A and want your car to hit 50mpg goal, you may have a bit of a pickle on your hands. Say hitting that goal will cost an additional $5k per car. Evil company B has no intention of hitting that goal, and so their cars will be cheaper. This could get them more sales, increasing their volume and…
1st Gear: Automakers (outside of Tesla), there is only one thing that can save your ass from Trump and his gang... vote Democrat and encourage everyone else to do the same in the mid-terms and with some luck, the Republicans will lose control of the House. That in turn will make it harder for Trump to implement his…
Weird, it’s like people are realizing the president’s a dumbass or something...
