Have you got fake eyelids as well?

Dude, you were supposed to get me a job days ago. What gives?

You're part of the problem. Watch Crazy Ex-Girlfriend

I'm rejoicing as fast as I can!

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!

You first.

Ahh, that explains a lot. The copy I've got says it's soon to be a 'major motion picture' and when I saw The Island I thought " That's ? what they did with it?"

There was an animated series? Live and learn. Was it any good?

Who?

From which historical period? Oh, so many hat/scarf options!

I'm such a philiistine that I see 'Goya' and all I hear is Bumblebee man saying "Y super gracias from Goya"

Yeah, you should probably just watch it with the sound off or to music.

Cool. Another one for the list is Toys which, while being a terrible film, is a great homage to Magritte.

The fandoms on those ones are the target audience though and no studio would risk alienating the core money source. I haven't seen it but I'm guessing '50 Shades' is faithful to the book as well.

The book was called Spares by Michael Marshall Smith. Other than the idea of growing clones for parts and the caretaker escaping with them, they threw most of the book out.

You think it rare for a Stephen King adaptation to be worse than the book?
Stephen king?! There are a handful of good adaptations of King works. The rest are terrible.

Sort of with you but I think the characters in the books are fantastic. I'll put Sam Vimes up against anyone in western literature, absolutely anyone.
That's a big black mark against the TV adaptations. They got some of the characters completely wrong. I'll probably punch Marc Warren if I ever meet him for what he did

The Island , and to a lesser extent ,The Golden Compass made me realise that if I really like a book, I shouldn't watch a big budget adaptation of it. It's like Hollywood can do clever OR expensive. It can't do both.

It's fair enough to have another crack at rubbish films. Just leave Indiana Jones or Ghostbusters alone

Where's my maritime job you son of a bitch?
