Why did a judge need to rule that it doesn't count? I'm pretty sure it's set in stone that filing for bankruptcy excuses you from pretty much everything EXCEPT taxes. And maybe child support.

What's the point of a time lapse video showing people how the trade center will look, when the look of it is obviously being manipulated to make it stand out more? I mean, what do they plan to coat it in, some kind of fancy futuristic glass that makes it look brighter and bluer than all the other buildings around it?

I am now, but I was thinking back to my days of working with a big company with close to 100 people working on a #1 hit title. They were pulling all nighters with guys sleeping in the office the last month of the project to get it out on time. Publsihers generally don't want to delay a title, and I could see them

Looks like someone needs to watch the movie Gung Ho.

I can't decide if this is a joke or not. On the one hand, it's almost April 1st, and it would be a funny joke. On the other hand, they're a corporation and telling people the game isn't coming out for another month might result in canceled preorders. Well you'd know better than me then, but Wikipedia says it's back to around 75% of its original population, and over 100% in the wealthier areas. Also, I suspect the US has not put as much money into rebuilding there as they could have because the town was full of poor blacks.

I think it's clear that this is a prerecorded message from Cave. He mentions the lab boys informing him of something. I think it's safe to assume these "lab boys" have been long deceased, even if Cave himself were to somehow still be alive.

Judging by what happend in New Orleans after Katrina, I'd say within five years, life will be back to relative normality.

Let's have a little perspective here.

This is silly. There aren't nearly enough objects there to make all the sounds you hear in film. How are you supposed to make the sound of breaking glass? Of footsteps? And it's clearly missing a couple of coconuts to make hoofbeats.

So they're basically confirming that Chell is in fact, a human, and not an android, because an android would not need a cryo chamber.

It's nice to see a huge corporation get bitten in the ass by the very patent system they love to abuse.

But what's a Mad Catz Cyborg TEK 9 doing in my pants?

Do you really think Mumbaraks police force was housing serial killers in a secret underground prison? Those men are most likely people Mumbarak considered his enemies, and didn't want the public to know he'd had locked away.

So let me get this straight. They got a patent on any stuffed animal which senses what a child is doing, and gives them positive or negative reinforcement? And this is different from toys like Teddy Ruxpin or Elmo which give children encouragement... how exactly? Because it actually senses that the child is

The reason I used the user rating is because these days critics refuse to give a game a score below 90% out of the fear of angering their advertisers, so now a score of 90% represents "good" rather than "excellent" as it did back when Starcraft 1 was released.
