"But parents were concerned it encouraged living room clutter."

@Kitsune Hazard: Yes, but in some places there are alternatives, and those are the places with lots of customers that comcast stands to lose.

I had a chemistry set as a kid. I can tell you what happens: ZIPPO.

Level 3 should grow some balls and tell them to forget it. Then Netflix should post a notice on their website to all Comcast customers informing them of why their service is slow, and telling them who to contact, and offering numbers for alternative high speed net providers in their area.

@me189: Oh wait, then we'd be in the United States back in the 1990's when online services were unpopular because they were way too expensive. Using Q-Link on My Commodore 64 I think it used to cost something like $6 an hour, and a single download took an hour so crazy expensive, considering you couldn't do anything

Excuse me? How is Level 3 pushing traffic off on Comcast? Comcast's customers are requesting it. Also, without Level 3 and other web providers who offer content, Comcast's entire network is useless.

@JonnyP: The US government was offered the chance to go over the documents and tell the guy what names should be redacted. They basically told him to piss off. So you can blame them if anyone dies as a result of this.

I swear to god I thought turkeys could fry!

@lcsaelee: I paid $50 to have a package shipped next day air to me and when UPS failed to deliver on time, they refused to refund even a portion of it, citing "act of god" or in this particular case, tornados.

These xrays aren't supposed to harm us and are supposedly blocked by the skin, but look at those sample images! You can see the dude's bones in his arms and legs!

It's a good idea, but they probably lost most of their customers by putting weird robots and zombies on it. Not exactly a gift you could give to just anyone.

@ghost25: If we can unravel the language of birds, then it might tell us how language evolved in people, and how the brain interprets it and stuff. And if we know that then perhaps it can be applied to creating an artificial intelligence which can use language properly. Or maybe it will just allow google to improve

What is the need for all this security again?

You could fly... or you could get a nice cabin on a freighter and cross the atlantic in 9 days.

@Volkamar: Wait.. so in the glish version every time he says Dattebayo at the end of th sentance they replace it with "Beleive it!"?

Oh my god. That's the voice they chose for Kakashi? UGH. I will never ever watch Naruto in english.

Meh.

So what exactly was I supposed to see in that boring 12 minute video? That events don't trigger unless the player performs the action that triggers them? How the hell is this news, or even new?
