Why turn "israeli company primesense" into a hotlink if it neither links to their website, nor links to any other story on Kotaku?

Someone ought to sue those news agencies for inciting panic. I mean one would assume that if they said it was a mysterious missile launch that they actually saw the damn missile flying and then took the photos. One could not mistake a slow flying jet leaving a contrail for a freaking ICBM, and making the assumption

That doesn't look like a very safe way to handle a gun.

That's totally the GI Joe headquarters.

Oh hey thanks patent office. You just effectively let Apple patent the first person shooter when the first person shooter was a new genre of game which would spawn hundreds of titles over the next 20 years. But I'm sure this patent will foster innovation so much we'll see twice as many titles in this particular

Eh. It's nice, I'll give her that, but the fact that it's the wrong kind of van kinda ruins it for me.

The dudes performing this attack are morons who have no clue how difficult and how much time it takes to program a game.

It's aspergeriffic!

@Mr.Pacman: I'm sure they're just simplfying the explanation for the sake of the video. They're probably working at multiple resolution levels like one might do with wavelett compression.

@max11221: Excuse me if I assumed police weren't stupid enough to waste hundreds of dollars a day flying a helicopter around for no good reason.

Man. Look at the difference between that model, and the one next to it on the side bar "duke nukem demo first access". That model was from a brief teaser 3D realms released not long ago. Yet it looks like total crap compared to the one on the right. Most notably the hair is much improved, and the shoulder straps

@max11221: You seem to be under the impression that police helicopters are routinely used to patrol and they just fly about all day for the heck of it. They are not, because they get like 2 miles to the gallon, and it costs something like $100 an hour to keep them in the air.

So just because you jump through someone's backyard suddenly you transform from a mild mannered cellphone thief into some kind of violent felon? What?

Don't worry folks, all it will take politicians to do the right thing and outlaw this BS is to have some kids go up in flames eventually.

@TanyaRei: Your dead father having had ties to the muslim religious community is enough to warrant the FBI tracking you?

@Mad-Hobo: That was 3D Realms' original plan actually.

NO.
