All the Half Life incarnations did ladders just fine. But they say the AI can't deal with them. Can't go up them they mean? Run around at the base of them? Climb them when the player is nearby and get shot off easily? What's the problem here?

@korofrog: It seems to me that what he did actually led to fair trade, not inhibited it. He prevented apple from taking advantage of the suppliers ignorance of how much they were making on the phones or whatever.

I wonder if it would be more efficient to calculate Pi in some other number base, like base 2 or base 16 and then convert it to base 10 when you're done.
