Why did I just watch that.

This photo could have been taken with an iPhone or any other phone using the same type of camera.

It just doesn't seem like fair play!

@swx2: Okay well then the question is why aren't they doing their job? Any reasonable person could see that beating someone with a metal baton is not a reasonable use of force to get them to comply with a request to turn off a cellphone.

When the hell are we gonna start holding police accountable for this stuff? I mean not even this. They can shoot a guy and kill him and the department would still say excessive force wasn't used. Why don't we have a seperate department whose sole job is to investigate the police and take action/fire officers when

@Aquifel: "Are you sure you're a programmer, have them do what people do :P thats easier said than done."

@Aquifel: I don't really see the problem. Just have them do whatever a person might do.

All the Half Life incarnations did ladders just fine. But they say the AI can't deal with them. Can't go up them they mean? Run around at the base of them? Climb them when the player is nearby and get shot off easily? What's the problem here?

@korofrog: It seems to me that what he did actually led to fair trade, not inhibited it. He prevented apple from taking advantage of the suppliers ignorance of how much they were making on the phones or whatever.

I wonder if it would be more efficient to calculate Pi in some other number base, like base 2 or base 16 and then convert it to base 10 when you're done.

@Hello Mister Walrus: What happens if they change their name or use a different alias? I didn't say it was a perfect system or even a good one; I said the government would use it to attempt to identify terrorists and make innocent people's lives difficult.

You're not looking at the big picture.

@Trai_Dep: Good luck finding a deserted island that someone or some nation doesn't claim title to. Also, some dude in Mexico built his own floating island out of bottles years ago, and the Mexican government wa trying to decide if they should lay claim to it and turn it into a tourist attraction. And some guys in

@DefineStatutory: Here's a thought. Why should I have to pay extra money in taxes based on how I choose to use the land I own? Why should one need to pay some kind of license fee to be allowed to have a pool in their backyard? The idea is absurd.

Google should change their terms of service to prevent usage of their maps for purpouses such as these.

@Alex 'Ctfxc'er Melka: Get the cookieswap plugin for firefox. It puts a little button on your stats bar which you click to swap identities, and it reloads the page you're viewing at the same time. You can be logged into one youtube account for each id and swap between them easily that way.

@brent_w: Exactly how big are these teams? I don't play Reach or know anyhting about it, but I do play Team Fortress, and in an 8 on 8 player game which isn't really that many, one player leaving on a team isn't really that big a deal. Also, why not punish people who leave in the middle of a match to go to work or

This is stupid. What's so bad about ragequitting that they have to ban people for doing it? I don't see how it affects anyone else in a multiplayer game. Maybe if it were a game like starcraft where it's one on one, or only four players and someone quits every time they get attacked before they're even half killed,

Why can we edit comments but not delete them?
