I'd feel kinda ripped off if I was Sega and I paid millions to have MJ write music for my game, and all he did was take songs he already wrote and give them a slightly different arrangement.

@hahnchen: Dude. Watch any of the many youtube videos comparing songs from the games. It's dead obvious they're his songs.

Didn't Nintendo JUST report that sales were up by 30% after the price drop?!

I bought L4D2. I played it. I enjoyed it a lot. But I'm not sure I enjoy playing it as much as the original. The maps being so brightly lit aren't as fun. Or rather they wouldn't be without the addition of all these new weapons and infected types. I thought the game was supposed to dynamically change the lighting

Well if you'll notice, that link there is the the link from Wind Waker, who was not the original link, but a relative hundreds of years in the future or something. So it would make sense for him to have boats and trains.

So they dropped the price by 20%, and as a result have increased gross sales by 70%. That sounds to me like they either didn't know what the sweet spot in the price was, or the console costs so much to make that they'd have been losing money on each one if they lowered the price. But since they make money from sales

@Friedhamster: That 22 year old freak is his fiancee.

Really cool, but I wonder how he got permission to take all that into the aquarium!

I would like to remind Microsoft that just because they put something in a licensing agreement, that doesn't make it legally binding.

I wasn't sure if I should buy this because I finally got bored of the four campaigns in L4D and the limited weapon selection, but I'm glad I did. There's a lot more varierty now and I've played through two of the campaigns and I really like how you have to complete tasks during some of the crecendo events so people

Does anyone know if there is a way to download the game via bittorrent then install it to steam? I don't want a cracked version. I prepurchased it just now but at the rate it's downloading it will take over 10 hours to preload. I know bittorrent could get it to me much faster though, and it seems to me Valve ought

@lineypi: I mean hell if you look at Sony's pet, that shares way more features with a gremlin than a furby does. #eyepet

That Sony pet looks just like some stuffed animal I've seen before. I wonder if Sony will end up forking over big bucks for violating someone's trademarked character appearance as happened with the Furby (which didn't look anything at all like the Gremlins whose creators sued them.) #eyepet

@drdoombot: "He even killed a Watcher to protect his secret."

And how do they plan to do this? Do they not know that game cover art and manuals are copyrighted? I don't think publishers who don't even want them to sell used copies of their games are simply going to let them make copies of the manuals and art.

How can Nintendo intentionally brick Wii's legally?
